Georgia at Tennessee
Georgia looks to sustain its dominant start, relying on a balanced offense and a stout defense against a Tennessee team fueled by home-field energy. The Volunteers, led by rising QB Joey Aguilar, will try to push Georgia’s limits with an aggressive defensive front and playmaking ability. This rivalry promises physicality and what should be a great finish.

Another high-stakes SEC matchup on the same day, Florida travels to LSU fresh off a surprising loss to South Florida last week. Billy Napier’s Gators will aim to rebound and prove they're still contenders in the conference. LSU, coming off a grinding victory against Louisiana Tech, seeks to showcase its defensive strength and efficient offensive execution. This SEC matchup could turn on the intensity of the trenches and turnover battle.
Texas A&M at Notre Dame
The Week 3 showdown between Texas A&M and Notre Dame is a marquee non-conference battle. Both teams are motivated to strengthen their playoff resumes. Notre Dame, coming off an impressive start, seeks to assert dominance at home, while Texas A&M aims to harness their power running game and strong defense to steal a win in South Bend. This game promises intense physicality and strategic chess match coaching as both teams contend for national relevance early in the season.

The Tigers are laying more than a touchdown at home on Saturday against the Gators. After an unexpected loss last week that will test the Florida Gators’ resilience, they travel to Baton Rouge to face LSU in a pivotal SEC matchup. Florida’s defense has struggled at times this season, and shutting down LSU’s efficient offense led by quarterback Garrett Nussmeier will be vital to getting back on track. LSU, meanwhile, has relied on a tough, physical approach, controlling the clock with a strong running game and an opportunistic defense. This battle could come down to execution in the trenches and turnover margin.
Both teams will be eager to assert dominance as this game could affect their standings in the SEC East. Florida looks to regain confidence and momentum, while LSU hopes to capitalize on home-field advantage and reinforce its status as a conference contender. Expect a gritty, workmanlike game with key adjustments from both coaching staffs influencing the outcome.
7:30 p.m. | Texas A&M at Notre Dame | NBC/Peacock
The Fighting Irish are listed as about a touchdown favorite at home against the Aggies. Texas A&M travels to South Bend to challenge a Notre Dame team that has yet to find consistency at quarterback but boasts a relentless defense and passionate home crowd. The Aggies will seek to dominate with their power running game and physical defensive front, testing Notre Dame’s ability to protect their quarterback and stay disciplined in coverage. Notre Dame, known for its stout defense, will need to pressure the Texas A&M offense while minimizing mistakes on offense to keep pace.
This non-conference marquee matchup is likely to be a clash of styles—Texas A&M’s physicality and ball control against Notre Dame’s defensive toughness and home-field advantage. The game could hinge on which team wins the trench battle and limits explosive plays, making halftime adjustments especially critical as both teams fight for early season momentum and national relevance.
