2025 United Football League Betting
UFL Championship betting is officially in the books, with the D.C. Defenders dismantling the Michigan Panthers in a lopsided 58-34 victory—easily covering as what turned out to be laughable neutral-field underdogs. Head coach Shannon Harris, named UFL Coach of the Year ahead of the title game, saw his team dominate from the second quarter on, turning the matchup into a one-sided showcase. Following the championship blowout, oddsmakers wasted no time releasing futures for the 2026 UFL Championship. Unsurprisingly, the reigning champs opened as odds-on favorites to repeat. With the dust settled on the 2025 campaign, it’s time to break down how the league’s top contenders stack up heading into next season’s UFL betting landscape.
With Jordan Ta’amu recently named MVP of the UFL Championship Game, questions now swirl about whether the Defenders’ QB1 will return under center next season to help defend the title. Adrian Martinez pulled off a similar feat the year prior while with Birmingham before signing with the New York Jets in the offseason. Will Ta’amu follow suit and take a paycheck to hold a clipboard at the next level, or will he return as one of the premier faces of the UFL?
Regardless of his decision, oddsmakers have already tabbed D.C. as the odds-on +250 favorites to repeat as UFL champions—a sharp rise from the +650 price they opened at before the 2025 campaign.
Hot on the heels of the Defenders are the spring league heavyweight Birmingham Stallions, whose dynasty came to an end in the USFL Conference Championship at the hands of the Michigan Panthers. Head coach Skip Holtz has cemented his status as one of the premier spring league coaches, having led the franchise to multiple championships and dominant division-winning campaigns.
The Stallions opened the 2025 season as 2-1 favorites to win a second straight UFL title. Now, heading into 2026, they’re listed at +375 to reclaim their crown and reestablish bragging rights in the league.
Had Bryce Perkins not suffered a debilitating ankle injury during the wild Week 7 comeback win at Arlington, the Michigan Panthers might have had a better shot in the UFL Championship. Unfortunately, the recently named UFL MVP was a shell of his usual self in the title game—despite throwing for 338 yards and four touchdowns. He was limited to just eight rushing yards on four carries, a clear sign his ankle wasn’t close to 100 percent. The showing was a stark contrast to his Week 6 performance against D.C., when he torched the Defenders for 76 rushing yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
Like the Defenders, Michigan opened last season +650 to win the UFL Championship. This time around, the Panthers enter the offseason priced +375—tied with USFL Division rival Birmingham—offering UFL bettors decent value if they believe Perkins and company can make another title run.
The St. Louis BattleHawks entered the postseason riding a wave of momentum, having won six straight games and covering the closing UFL spread five times. However, Anthony Becht’s squad ran into familiar trouble when forced out of its comfort zone. Once opponents put points on the board early and neutralized their dominant run game, the offense struggled—highlighting ongoing issues at the quarterback position. Despite the setback, St. Louis boasted the UFL’s top-rated scoring defense and one of the league’s most punishing ground attacks. With that foundation in place, the BattleHawks are poised to remain contenders in the UFL futures market—provided they can address their instability under center.
At the start of the 2025 UFL season, linemakers listed St. Louis +350 favorites, behind only the Stallions. Now, the crypto sportsbook has them priced at 5/1 heading into 2026—making them one of the more intriguing early value plays, especially if upper management successfully shores up the quarterback position in the offseason.
The Arlington Renegades were inarguably the best team to miss the postseason. Bob Stoops’ squad finished 5-5 but posted a strong 6-4 record against the UFL betting lines, with all five losses coming by 3.0 points per game on average. Quarterback Luis Perez led the league’s second-ranked passing offense, while the defense gave up fewer than 17 points and led the UFL in sacks with 2.7 per contest.
Despite falling short of the playoffs, Arlington proved it could hang with the league’s elite—highlighted by a home win over eventual division champ St. Louis. The Renegades opened last season at 11-1 to win it all but were bet down to +350 after a 3-1 start. Now priced at +750 to win the 2026 UFL Championship, they’re one of the more intriguing longshots on the board.
Rounding out the UFL futures board are the Houston Roughnecks (15/1), Memphis Showboats (18/1), and San Antonio Brahmas (22/1), who combined for just eight total wins during the regular season. Compared to last year’s title odds, only Houston (previously 18/1) has improved in the eyes of oddsmakers. Meanwhile, Memphis (previously 15/1) and San Antonio (once 6/1) have seen their stock drop heading into 2026.
All weekly UFL betting and futures odds will be available for wagering at the crypto sportsbook throughout the upcoming 2026 season.

The United Football League (UFL) is a professional spring football league born of a merger between the United States Football League (USFL) and the XFL.
In 2025, the UFL will be comprised of eight teams and two divisions. All UFL regular season games will be played in the home fields of the teams involved. Unlike the old USFL format, there will be no neutral site games. The league was created as a "merger of equals," with the respective leagues' owners assuming 50% ownership of the newly formed UFL.
The regular season kicks off on Friday, March 28, 2025, with the championship game on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
In the United States, the television rights for the UFL are held by Fox and ESPN, which previously held the rights to the USFL and XFL, respectively.
The league is divided into two conferences, the USFL Conference and the XFL Conference, each a continuation of its respective league. Each team will play a ten-game schedule with no bye weeks, playing two games against each conference rival (one home and one away) and one game against each team in the other conference, like the XFL, all eight teams playing in their home markets.
The UFL has reworked the playoff system so that the winners of each conference will host the league semifinals as before. In contrast, the two remaining playoff seeds will be wild-card bids going to the best remaining overall records, regardless of conference.
