2025 NFL Best Bets - Football Lines
The two teams with the best record in the NFL entering Week 15 reside in the AFC, but the NFC dominates the top of the NFL futures odds board. The Los Angeles Rams snapped back from their upset loss at Carolina in Week 13 by dismantling Arizona 45-17 on Sunday to maintain their lead in the NFC and stay atop the Super Bowl odds board for another week. Seattle is the second favorite and tied with LA with a record of 10-3. LA won the first head-to-head meeting and the teams will square off in the PNW in Week 16.
The NFC West has been a dogfight all season, and don’t count out the 49ers. Just a game behind the division leaders, SF has the easier schedule with their next two against Tennessee and the beat up Colts before finishing at home against Chicago and Seattle. Green Bay reclaimed first place in the NFC North with Sunday’s 28-21 win over the Bears and has the third shortest Super Bowl odds. Several other teams dropped off the board with losses last week, officially eliminated from the postseason picture. The NFC North is the only division in football with every team still having a mathematical chance of qualifying.
A Super Bowl favorite at the start of the season, the three-time AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs have dropped on the list. The Chiefs are in danger of missing the playoffs entirely after Sunday’s 20-10 loss to Houston dropped them to 6-7. Buffalo boasts the shortest Super Bowl odds among AFC teams with Denver and New England next in line. The Broncos and Pats both take 10-game winning streaks into their Week 15 matchups and at 11-2 they lead their respective divisions by two games.

Denver Broncos
We’ll take a look at the next five teams on the Super Bowl odds board with all having a realistic chance of winning. The Broncos take their 10-game winning streak into a matchup with Green Bay on Sunday and they hope the good fortune continues. Eight wins during the current streak have been by one score and Sunday’s 24-17 win over Vegas was their ninth one-score victory of the season. It helps having a strong defense and Denver allows the fewest yards per play while leading the NFL in third-down and red zone defense.
New England Patriots
The Pats took last week off to regroup for the final stretch. They enter the Week 15 showdown with Buffalo holding a 2-game lead over the Bills in the AFC East. And the Pats got 11 wins by being sound in every aspect of the game. Passing for more than 3,400 yards with 23 TDs, Drake Maye leads the seventh highest scoring team. And the Pats rank seventh in total defense while allowing just 18.5 points an outing.
Houston Texans
Other teams have longer winning streaks but the Texans might be the hottest team in the NFL. They are 8-2 since starting the year with three straight losses and have their last five. The defense has been stifling holding each of their last four opponents to less than 20 points. Only two teams have scored more than 20 points against them this year. They lead the NFL allowing only 16 points and 266.3 yards per game. The offense needs to catch up, though. The Texans average 21.8 points and have been held to 20 points or less eight times.
Jacksonville Jaguars
A meltdown against Houston in Week 10 only seemed to inspire the Jags, who are 4-0 since blowing a 19-point fourth quarter lead against a backup QB in a crucial divisional matchup. They outscored their opponents 123-52 during the winning streak with Trevor Lawrence tossing eight TD passes. He had just 10 TD passes in the first nine games of the season. The offense has been more productive lately under first-year coach Liam Coen and the defense has been stingy as well. The Jags are No. 1 against the run and their 15 interceptions are tied for the second most.
Detroit Lions
The Lions are currently outside the playoff picture in the NFC but their ability to avoid consecutive losses should help. They haven’t lost two in a row since the middle of the 2022 season winning their last 15 games following a loss. They will have to string a few wins together over the final month, though, since they’ve alternated wins and losses over their last eight games. Not as consistent as last season, the offense is among the best in the NFL bolstered by a strong running game behind the duo of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery.
