New England Revolution MLS Betting Odds
Bruce Arena did an excellent job turning around the New England Revolution in 2019. The Revolution were the worst team in the Eastern Conference through 12 games, leading to Brad Friedel getting sacked. Under Friedel, the Revs were 2-8-2, and they gave up 18 goals in their last four games before Arena took over on May 9. Arena turned New England around with an emphasis on defense, and that led to the Revolution losing just three times in their last 22 games. New England snuck into the postseason as the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference, and that has fans excited the Revs will build on that in 2020.

New England Revolution 2020 Preview
Given the team’s strong play over the last two-thirds of the season, New England didn’t change much in the offseason. The Revolution don’t have any high-profile or high-salary players, but they should have one of the best back lines in the MLS in 2020. That will make New England competitive throughout the season.

Always the bridesmaid, but never the bride. That encapsulates the history of the New England Revolution. The Revolution were one of the original Major League Soccer franchises. They have been around for over two decades, but they have yet to win an MLS Cup. New England has made it to the MLS Cup Final five times in its history, and all five times the club came up just short, finishing as the runner-up.
Fortunately, New England’s trophy case is not barren. The Revolution were able to win the 2007 U.S. Open Cup giving the franchise at least one major trophy to their name. Even there they have been a bit unlucky though, finishing as the runner-up twice in the competition.
The Kraft Family owns the Revolution, but they have not had near as much fortune as the New England Patriots. That has led to criticism over the years, as they have the second-worst all-time record of the original MLS franchises.
