UFL Week 9 Betting Online

The Birmingham Stallions remain undefeated and the betting favorite to win the 2024 UFL championship. With two weeks remaining in the regular season, the thought of an undefeated season is within reason. This week, the Stallions have a tough road assignment at the San Antonio Brahmas, who are tied for the XFL Division lead with the St. Louis Battlehawks. Meanwhile, the Battlehawks are on the road to play the 1-7 Arlington Renegades. Next week, the Brahmas and Battlehawks will clash for a probable division title matchup. The Michigan Panthers clinched a playoff spot last week and will play at the 1-7 Houston Roughnecks on Sunday. Meanwhile, the D.C. Defenders are at the Memphis Showboats in a matchup of teams playing out the string.

Let’s look over the latest news on the field from the UFL.

The San Antonio Brahmas defeated the Arlington Renegades 20-15 in a closely contested UFL game. With the win, the Brahmas improve to 6-2 on the season, while the Renegades fall to 1-7.

The Brahmas locked in a playoff spot in the XFL Conference. Right now, the Battlehawks own the tiebreaker. But the home field remains up in the air.

A strong performance led the Brahmas from quarterback Quinten Dormady, who completed 17 of 25 passes for 320 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Anthony McFarland Jr. was Dormady’s top target, catching two passes for 118 yards and both of the team’s touchdowns.

The Renegades were led by quarterback Luis Perez, who completed 22 of 33 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Sal Cannella was Perez’s top target, catching nine passes for 87 yards and a touchdown.

With the loss, the Renegades remain at the bottom of the XFL Conference standings, while the Brahmas sit in second place behind the St. Louis Battlehawks.

The Birmingham Stallions maintained their perfect record with a 35-28 win over the Houston Roughnecks in Week 8 of the UFL season. The Stallions now sit at 8-0, while the Roughnecks drop to 1-7.

The Roughnecks offense was led by running back Mark Thompson, who scored two rushing touchdowns. Quarterbacks Nolan Henderson and Reid Sinnett combined for 196 passing yards, with Sinnett throwing for one touchdown and one interception.

Stallions quarterback Adrian Martinez had an impressive game, throwing for 173 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 44 yards and two scores. Running backs Ricky Person Jr. and Larry Roundtree III combined for 95 rushing yards on 20 carries.

The Michigan Panthers hosted the Memphis Showboats in a UFL matchup that saw the Panthers emerge victorious with a 24-18 win. With this result, the Panthers improve to a 6-2 record, while the Showboats fall to 1-7.

The quarterback duo of Case Cookus and Josh Love led the Showboats offense. Cookus completed 10 of 16 passes for 179 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT, while Love went 9 of 12 for 56 yards and 1 TD.

The Panthers offense was paced by quarterbacks Brian Lewerke and Bryce Perkins. Lewerke completed 6 of 11 passes for 82 yards and 1 TD, while Perkins went 7 of 9 for 106 yards and 1 TD, along with nine carries for 55 yards.

All four playoff teams are set with two weeks remaining in the regular season. St Louis and San Antonio punched their tickets to the postseason this weekend. Home-field advantage in both conferences is still up for grabs and could come down to Week 10 matchups, as all four playoff teams face each other in the final week of the regular season.
