We’re only four weeks in and it’s already been an up and down season on my NFL parlay picks. I nearly hit all five picks for the second time in Week 4 but was denied another sweep by Buffalo. Looking like the best team in the NFL entering their Sunday night matchup with Baltimore, the Bills were run out of town in a 35-10 setback not getting any help from the 2.5-points they were spotted. It just proves that you never know what’s going to happen when you bet on the NFL using bitcoin. The surprising Minnesota Vikings are one of only two undefeated teams left through four weeks. They take on old pal Aaron Rodgers and the Jets early Sunday morning from London. Rodgers won nearly 60 percent of his starts against the Vikings when he was with Green Bay but he’s a 2.5-point dog on the early line in this one. The Jets had a miserable outing against Denver in Week 4 losing outright 10-9 as an 8.5-point favorite. Kansas City is the other unbeaten and they close the betting week on Monday night at home against New Orleans. Showing just how quickly things can change, I went from hitting both NFL parlays in Week 2 to nearly getting blanked on my picks in Week 3. I’ll try my hardest to return to the winning ways with a nice slate of games on tap for Week 4 of the NFL season. There are five teams still unbeaten through three weeks and all of them are on the road with three of them listed as underdogs on the opening lines at the Bitcoin Sportsbook. The most impressive of the group is Buffalo with a NFL best plus-64 point differential. Josh Allen jumped to the top of the board in the MVP futures market and takes his club to Baltimore where the Bills are catching 2.5-points on the early line. It was a good last week for underdogs winning eight games outright with four of the teams catching at least six points on the closing line. Unfortunately I picked none of them in my three-team underdog parlay. Quarterback issues for the Chargers and Bears cost me in those games. Justin Herbert left the Pittsburgh game with an injury and the Steelers mauled the Bolts 20-10 easily covering the 2-point line. Caleb Williams may eventually be a good player but we’ll never know unless the Bears get an O-line. For the second time in as many weeks the Atlanta Falcons will be featured in a primetime matchup hosting the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the Week 3 Sunday Night Football game. Atlanta earned its first win of the season and also got me a nice NFL same game parlay payout at my Bitcoin Sportsbook by beating Philadelphia outright as a 5.5-point road dog on Monday night. The Chiefs play their first road game of the season after two close home wins that both came down to the final play of the game. A 51-yard field goal as time expired gave them a 26-25 win over Cincinnati last week extending their overall winning streak to eight. The Chiefs had been perfect against the spread in that span until failing to cover the 6.5-point line against the Bengals. This is a matchup we don’t see that often with the teams in opposite conferences and on opposite ends of the standings over the years. The Falcons made a big investment in Kirk Cousins with hopes of getting their first winning season and playoff appearance since 2017. ... 

With the help of two underdogs winning outright I hit my three-team NFL parlay and correctly hit all five wagers. It was a good week for me and for teams catching points with eight dogs winning their games outright and another two covering the closing line. Also, 10 of the 16 games played below the closing total with one push. The betting markets will eventually even out as we learn more about the teams and Week 3 is right around the time that starts to happen. Injuries throw a wrench in the pla... 

The Atlanta Falcons spent a lot of money this offseason upgrading their roster with the hope of securing their first winning season and playoff berth since 2017. Quarterback Kirk Cousins was the marquee acquisition brought in to stabilize a position that’s been ineffective since the end of the Matt Ryan era. Welp, after Week 1 we can see there are still some issues. Cousins tossed a pair of interceptions and the Falcons lost outright 18-10 as a 4-point favorite at the Crypto sportsbook. Putting a somber close to the 2023 season behind them, the Eagles’ offense looked in mid-season form in their 34-29 win over Green Bay. Jalen Hurts took a brunt of the criticism for the team losing five of its last six regular season games and the disappearing act in the wild card loss to Tampa Bay. Hurts had a big game in the most recent meeting between the clubs throwing for 264 yards and three touchdowns in Philadelphia’s 32-6 road win in 2021. The last six encounters have all cashed the UNDER with the total positioned at 47. ...
