  • BookMaker.eu Last week, I broke the underachievers down that were expected to make noise at the online sportsbook, but have grossly failed to live up to expectations heading into the Week 7 NFL betting slate. Included in the mix were Tampa Bay, San Francisco, Green Bay, Indianapolis, Miami, Las Vegas, and Denver. Of those seven teams, only the Raiders and Dolphins saw their odds to win Super Bowl LVII get shorter due to coming up with a Week 8 win. The 49ers did so only because of bringing Christian McCaffrey in from Carolina. This week, I’m taking a look at overlooked teams not expected to make noise but have gone on to stir the pot regardless. Do any of these teams have what it takes to see it all the way through? In other words, are we confidently adding any of these teams to the futures portfolio? Let’s dig in and find out! ...

  • BookMaker.eu At the start of the season, it looked like this game would be a doozy. The Buffalo Bills were the favorites to win the Super Bowl coming into this season, while the Green Bay Packers had three straight 13-win campaigns. However, while the Bills have lived up to (and even surpassed) preseason expectations, the Packers have fallen apart. Green Bay has lost three straight games ahead of this tilt, so the Packers are double-digit road underdogs per the NFL betting odds on Sunday Night Football. The best team in the NFL will be back in action after a bye week as the Buffalo Bills headline Sunday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers. These teams will meet on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. ...

  • BookMaker.eu It was another good week on my NFL total plays hitting two of three to put me further in the black. After a rough start I’ve gone 9-3 over the last four weeks with both under picks coming through in Week 7. It shouldn’t be that much of a surprise since 57.9 percent of the games ended below the closing total. The games were evenly split last week with seven cashing the UNDER. For just the second time this season we didn’t have more games end below the total, but we still haven’t had a week with more OVERS. ...

  • BookMaker.eu Sometimes teasing lines on NFL games can tease your emotions. After three straight weeks of three-team winners I came within an eyelash of extending that major heater only to be undone by the underachieving Indianapolis Colts. It looks like the betting Gods were going to get back some of the coin they lost this month. Oh well, I can’t complain too much after the successful run and just like in sports you can’t win them all. Things always have a way of evening out so maybe I was due. But damn that outcome still gets me. ...

  • BookMaker.eu Winning a bet is satisfying and even more so when cashing in several of them. Though I hit winners on my parlay picks I never hit them all, until last week. And as we know every wager on a multi-team parlay has to win in order to cash that winning ticket. It’s hard enough getting a single game winner let alone several of them so I will savor this moment. For obvious reasons the payout on a winning parlay ticket is much better. I was big on the Raiders last week and that paid off with them covering the 7-point line in a 38-20 win over Houston. It took a fourth quarter outburst to do it, but that’s why the games are 60 minutes. I also won a moneyline bet with the Cowboys, who beat Detroit 24-6. The price was steep in that one but winning is what matters. Me and the Boys took care of that. Backing the favorite should be the easy part on your parlay card but that’s not always how it works. Favorites were 8-6 SU and 6-8 ATS in Week 7. ...

  • BookMaker.eu Are you ready for another week of ugly dog picks in the NFL? We are off to a sizzling start this season, and it was a 3-2 ATS record last week to bring the season mark to 18-11-1 ATS. Some of the best bets in the NFL each week are oftentimes wagers on teams that are considered the worst in the league. If you want to win money betting NFL games then you need to be willing to take teams no one else wants to bet. We refer to these teams as ugly dogs and you really have to hold your nose sometimes when you bet on them, but history has shown that going against the public works. We had five plays last week and we have another five games to look at for this week. Let’s look at the NFL Week 8 Ugly Dog picks. ...

  • BookMaker.eu After a 2-0 start to the season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have fallen apart. They have lost four of their last five games, and their lone win in that stretch came against the Atlanta Falcons. Tampa Bay was a heavy favorite per the NFL betting odds on the road against Pittsburgh and Carolina the last two weeks, but the Buccaneers lost a close one to the Steelers and looked dreadful in a 21-3 loss to the Panthers on Sunday. They now face three straight teams that are .500 or better prior to their ...

  • BookMaker.eu There’s reason why it’s called gambling and not winning. I think I’ve used that line before but it rings true. Every week the plan is to give bettors some insight on games that can be used in a parlay. My picks are more for informational purposes and I don’t actually play a parlay card with them. As it turns out that’s probably a good thing since once again all my Week 6 picks didn’t pan out. I’m winning over 55 percent of the time, however every pick has to be a winner to get the payout. And un...

  • BookMaker.eu After being left for dead following Mac Jones’ injury in their loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3, the New England Patriots have roared back to life. They showed a lot of life in their overtime road loss to the Green Bay Packers the following week, and they have throttled their last two opponents. That has New England sitting at 3-3, and the Pats are now in great position to contend in the AFC given their upcoming schedule starting this week against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football...

  • BookMaker.eu Week 6 was a good one on my NFL top total plays sweeping the games to move into positive territory for the first time this season. It’s taken six weeks but I’m finally in the black thanks to 7-2 run over the past three weeks. Eight of the 14 games around the NFL in Week 6 cashed the UNDER moving the season percentage to 59, and there has yet to be a week where more games exceeded the point total. ...

  • BookMaker.eu Tua Tagovailoa is ready to return to action, and that will give the Miami Dolphins a big boost on Sunday Night Football. The Dolphins have lost three straight games since Tagovailoa was injured, and that has left them in the middle-of-the-pack in the AFC playoff picture. Tagovailoa is expected to lift the Dolphins past the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7, but Miami can’t afford to look past Pittsburgh after the Steelers upset the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. The Miami Dolphins will look to put an end to a three-game losing streak when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. This game will be played on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. ...

  • BookMaker.eu Last week I mentioned I was officially on a heater with my NFL teaser picks after hitting a three-teamer for the second straight week. Well, we can upgrade that to a major heater after hitting all three in Week 6. And as it turned out teasing the lines was exactly what got me the winning ticket. Three consecutive winning weeks puts us in a good spot moving forward, but as we know the house doesn’t like to lose. And things have a way of evening out over the long haul. ...

  • BookMaker.eu The Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles are currently the odds-on favorites to punch tickets to Super Bowl LVII per the current conference futures odds at the online sportsbook. While the former was expected to make major noise this season, the book was still out on the latter. With little to no line value to be had backing either of those teams heading into Week 7 of the NFL ...

  • BookMaker.eu Are you ready for another week of ugly dog picks in the NFL? It was a light week last week with just two plays, as we went 1-1 to bring the season mark to 15-9-1 ATS through the first six weeks of the season. We had just two plays last week, but this week we have a bunch of action with five games. Let’s look at the NFL Week 7 Ugly Dog picks. ...

  • BookMaker.eu It’s now or never for both the New Orleans Saints and the Arizona Cardinals. Both these teams are sitting at 2-4 after entering the year with playoff aspirations. New Orleans has been dealing with a ton of injuries (especially to its receivers), but Arizona has been without its No. 1 receiver for the first six weeks of the season. DeAndre Hopkins should give Arizona a spark on Thursday Night Football in his first game back from a PED suspension. The Arizona Cardinals are hoping that the return of...

  • BookMaker.eu The Denver Broncos have been the most disappointing team in the NFL through the first five weeks of the season. Denver was expected to be a potential Super Bowl contender after the acquisition of Russell Wilson, but the Broncos are currently 2-3 and ranked 31st in scoring offense with 15.0 PPG. However, they do have one of the best defenses in the NFL, and that gives them a chance of knocking off the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football this week. Two AFC West rivals with high aspiration...

  • BookMaker.eu First place in the NFC East is up for grabs on Sunday night when the Philadelphia Eagles face the Dallas Cowboys. Philadelphia is the last unbeaten team left in the NFL, while Dallas has won four in a row after losing its season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Cowboys are holding out some hope that Dak Prescott will be able to start for the first time in over a month, but Cooper Rush is likely to be the starting quarterback for the fifth consecutive game. The Philadelphia Eagles will...

  • BookMaker.eu Back to back winning weeks on my NFL top total plays has me closer to the breakeven point. While I’m not there yet hitting four of six over the last two weeks has me feeling confident I can put another winning week together, as long as the teams cooperate. The UNDER is trending this season with nearly 60 percent of the games falling below the closing total. There has yet to be a week were more games cashed the OVER....

  • BookMaker.eu You can officially say I’m on a heater with my teaser picks. For the second straight week we cashed a three-team winner, though we didn’t need to tease the lines and total for the Week 5 picks. Beating the house every so often is a good feeling and keeps the betting public coming back for more. And since sportsbooks aren’t in business to pay out every week, we know things will change. The key obviously is to win more than you lose and going back-to-back puts us in a good spot moving forward....

  • BookMaker.eu There’s always something that comes up and bites you in the rear end just when you think you have a winner. A number of bets have paid off since the start of the season, but unfortunately when playing a parlay, you need them all to work in your favor. It isn’t as easy as it sounds and we’ve yet to hit a four-teamer this season. I think a different strategy is needed and this week we’ll look at a few different options on our parlay card to hopefully come out ahead....

  • BookMaker.eu Last week, I recommended favorite, underdog, and longshot selections to cash in on the Super Bowl LVII odds at the online sportsbook. They included the Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, and Pittsburgh Steelers. The first two saw their odds get shorter this past week after the Eagles remained undefeated against the Cardinals and the Vikings held off a furious comeback from...

  • BookMaker.eu Are you ready for another week of ugly dog picks in the NFL? We are coming off our first losing week of the season, as we went 1-3-1 last week, but we are still 14-8 -1 ATS through the first five weeks of the season. We have had a lot of plays through the first five weeks of the season but that is not the case in Week 6. There are four teams on byes and it turns out we have just two plays for this week. Let’s look at the NFL Week 6 Ugly Dog picks. ...

  • BookMaker.eu We saw an absolute stinker on Thursday Night Football last week as the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts failed to score a touchdown in a game that had four interceptions, so everyone is hoping for a better show this week. The Washington Commanders and Chicago Bears are hoping to oblige, but these are two of the worst offenses in the NFL. Currently, the Bears are a short favorite by the NFL betting odds, yet this line could still move a point or two either way. The Chicago Bears have a chance to get back to .500 on Thursday Night Football when they host the Washington Commanders. This game will be played at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video. ...

  • BookMaker.eu I finally had a winning week on my NFL top total plays improving my overall record for the season, though I’m still in the red. The goal is to win more than you lose and I’m slowly making my way up the ladder with another solid week hopefully getting me over the hump. While a majority of bettors favored the UNDER in last week’s Denver-Las Vegas matchup I bet the OVER and it paid off. Russell Wilson had his best day in a Broncos uniform accounting for three touchdowns, though his club lost 32-23. ...

  • BookMaker.eu Last week was the reason why we bet teasers on NFL games. Winning is a good feeling and collecting some shekels in the process is why we keep coming back. It doesn’t happen every week so enjoy it when it does. My three-team Week 4 teaser paid off handsomely with the strategy behind placing the bets working out to perfection. The goal is obviously to always win more than you lose and not to get overconfident or cocky win hitting a winner. So, with last week behind me it’s off to Week 5 to see if ...
