West Virginia Mountaineers NCAA Basketball Betting

The West Virginia Mountaineers went just 7-11 in the Big 12 this season but that was good enough to make the NCAA Tournament. The Big 12 was the best conference in the country and they sent seven teams to the NCAA Tournament. The Mountaineers are the No. 9 seed in the South Region and they will play the No. 8 seeded Maryland Terrapins on Thursday.

One thing about this year’s West Virginia team that is different than in the past is that they can score points, as they averaged over 76 points per game during the regular season. It will be interesting to see how the Mountaineers play against Maryland because the Terps look a lot like previous West Virginia teams, as Maryland plays very tough defense.
