The United Football League (UFL) is a new professional spring football league born of a merger between the United States Football League (USFL) and the XFL. In 2024, the UFL will be comprised of eight teams and two divisions. All UFL regular season games will be played in the home fields of the teams involved. Unlike the old USFL format, there will be no neutral site games. The league was created as a "merger of equals," with the respective leagues' owners assuming 50% ownership of the newly formed UFL.
