LIV Golf Virginia Betting Online
Following a month break LIV Golf is back in action opening the second half of the season with LIV Golf Virginia, the eighth tournament on the 14-event season schedule. The three-day, 54-hole tournament starts on Friday, June 6 from the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in the Washington, DC suburb of Gainesville, Virginia. A lot has happened since Bryson DeChambeau claimed his first victory of the season and third overall in Korea in early May. A group of 16 LIV golfers made their way to Quail Hollow for the PGA Championship last month, the second major of the year. Three golfers placed among the top 10 led by DeChambeau, who earned a share of second. Jon Rahm and Joaquin Niemann tied for eighth. The result continued a torrid for DeChambeau, who has finished among the top 5 in his last five starts, including his win in Korea. Not surprisingly he opened as the betting favorite this week ahead of Rahm and Niemann as the only players with shorter than 10/1 odds.
It’s another tournament and another new course for the field with LIV Golf debuting at RTJ Golf Club. LIV has been in the vicinity before, though, for the 2023 LIV Golf DC, which was contested at Trump National Golf Club just outside DC in Potomac Falls, Virginia. Harold Varner III won his first and so far only LIV title that weekend finishing one swing better than Branden Grace and two ahead of Mito Pereira. Rahm is in a familiar spot near the top of the odds board and has enjoyed a wonderful 2025 so far. His worst finish in his last nine starts was T14 at the Masters in April. He continued his streak of finishing among the top 10 in every LIV event he’s completed with a T7 in Korea, but he’s still searching for his first victory of the year. Rahm will also attempt to erase the memory of a late meltdown at the PGA Championship. With the help of DeChambeau Crushers GC won its first team title of the year in Korea moving into third in the overall standings. Rahm’s Legion XIII still holds a comfortable lead in the overall team points race.
Catch all of the action at LIV Golf Virginia from Friday, June 6 through Sunday, June 8.

The course’s namesake said at the time of completion in 1991, “I don’t think we could have done any better anywhere.” That’s a hearty endorsement for the 18-hole championship course located on the banks of Lake Manassas. The course stretches to nearly 7,400 yards giving those competing in the upcoming US Open a nice warm-up. The venue has hosted four Presidents Cups and the 2024 Solheim Cup as well as the PGA Tour’s 2015 Quicken Loans National. Phil Mickelson played in all four Presidents Cup competitions compiling a record of 9-5-3.

It’s a familiar sight having Rahm at the top of the odds board and also finishing among the top 10. However he hasn’t really been close to winning this year since finishing 2-shots behind Adrian Meronk at the season-opening tournament in Saudi Arabia. Niemann has been the best all season leading the season-long points race on the strength of three victories. However, DeChambeau is the hottest player currently with T2s sandwiched around his win in Korea in his last three starts.
DeChambeau will attempt to become the second player to go back-to-back matching the accomplishment of Talor Gooch last year. However, the RTJ layout is demanding and requires the use of every stick in the bag rather than just bombing away and relying on a short game. DeChambeau has had a much better overall game and the length of the course will allow him to still do what he does best.
