LIV Golf Korea Betting
This week LIV Golf heads just outside the capital city Seoul for LIV Golf Korea, the seventh tournament on the season schedule. The three-day, 54-hole tournament starts on Friday, May 2 from the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club. Joaquin Niemann has been the big winner this year claiming his third title of the season last week in Mexico City. It was Niemann’s fifth career LIV win, all coming since the start of the 2024 season, a span of 19 tournaments. The victory also moved him into a tie with Brooks Koepka for the most career LIV Golf wins. Opening odds had Niemann, Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau as tri-favorites boasting odds shorter than 10/1. Rahm continued his streak of finishing among the top 10 in every LIV event he’s completed with a solo fourth in Mexico City, four shots off the pace. DeChambeau took a 1-shot lead into the final round in Mexico City before fading with a closing 71. Eight golfers are positioned with opening odds between 10/1 and 22/1 on the second tier of favorites.
It’s another week and another new venue for the field with LIV Golf making its debut in South Korea. The game’s influence is evident in the country with the host course named after its designer. Nicklaus Design, spearheaded by the Golden Bear himself, helped construct the 18-hole championship course that stretches to over 7,400 yards at par 72. The first Presidents Cup held in Asia took place here in 2015 with 10 players who competed a decade ago scheduled to peg it up. Led by Rahm, Legion XIII won its second team title of the season edging out the field in Mexico City moving to No. 1 in the season-long team standings. With Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton carding a 3-under all four team members scored below par in the final round.
Catch all of the action at the LIV Golf Korea from Friday, May 2 through Sunday, May 4.

Heck, I don’t remember what I had for breakfast the other day so it’s hard to imagine any of the players who competed here in the Presidents Cup 10 years ago recalling any specifics. For the record Branden Grace went 5-0-0 and Louis Oosthuizen was 4-0-1 for the international team. Phil Mickelson was 3-0-1 for Team USA. The field confronts another beefy course with the Nicklaus-designed layout measuring more than 7,400 yards from the tips.

It’s a familiar sight having Rahm at the top of the odds board and also finishing among the top 10. However he hasn’t really been close to winning this year since finishing 2-shots behind Adrian Meronk at the season-opening tournament in Saudi Arabia. Niemann is certainly the hottest player on the circuit winning half of the six events this year. And according to Phil Mickelson, Niemann is the best player in the world. That’s a bold statement by Lefty considering Niemann finished outside the top 30 in two of three LIV events he didn’t win and has also struggled recently in majors.
If you’re looking for a home field advantage this week take a peek at some Korean-born players with something to prove. The trio of Kevin Na, Danny Lee and Yubin Jang will attempt to lift Iron Heads GC from last place in the overall team standings. Jang was named the 2024 Korean Tour Player of the Year but has failed to make a mark on the LIV circuit. He’s coming off a last place finish last week in Mexico City and has not finished better than T23 in any of his six starts. Na has struggled without a top 10 finish in his last 12 LIV starts and has just five top 10s in 39 career LIV events.
