2026 NBA All-Star Game Betting

Bet on NBA All-Star Game

The NBA All-Star game is changing once again. The league has tinkered with different formats throughout the past few years, trying to inject excitement into a game that has lost its luster. Their latest change is the most dramatic. This year's game will feature a theme of America versus the World. The hope is that adding an element of national pride will lead to more competitive play.

This year's game will feature a round robin tournament between two American teams and one World team. Each team must have at least eight players. Participants from both the Eastern and Western conferences will be mixed among all three teams.

There will be four games in total, each lasting 12 minutes. In the round-robin tournament, Team A will play Team B in Game 1. The winning team from Game 1 will face Team C in Game 2, followed by the losing team from Game 1 meeting Team C in Game 3.

After Game 3, the two teams with the best records will advance to face each other in the championship game (Game 4). If all three teams have a 1-1 record after Game 3, the tiebreaker would be point differential in each team’s two round-robin games.

2026 NBA All-Star Game Preview

The two U.S. teams are USA Stars and USA Stripes. The U.S. All-Stars were assigned to teams by age, with the younger group placed on USA Stars and the older group on USA Stripes. Team World comprises international players.

Detroit Pistons head coach J.B. Bickerstaff and San Antonio Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson will lead the USA Stars and USA Stripes, respectively. Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic of Serbia will lead Team World.

As in the past, 24 NBA All-Stars (12 from each conference) were originally selected as follows: The five players honored as starters from each conference will be selected by fans (50% of the vote), current NBA players (25%) and a media panel (25%), and the seven players honored as reserves from each conference will be selected by NBA head coaches.

2026 NBA Castrol Rising Stars Challenge

The 2026 Castrol Rising Stars were drafted to three teams with Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg, Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel, and Philadelphia 76ers rookie VJ Edgecombe selected in the first round by honorary coaches Carmelo Anthony, Tracy McGrady, and Vince Carter.

The three teams of top NBA rookies and sophomores will compete against a G League squad in a mini-tournament Friday, Feb. 13 (9 ET, Peacock) at the LA Clippers’ Intuit Dome as part of NBA All-Star 2026.

2026 NBA Kia Shooting Stars

The 2026 Kia Shooting Stars competition, returning to All-Star Saturday Night after an 11-year hiatus, features a revamped two-round, points-based format. Four teams of three players—typically two current NBA players and one NBA legend—compete to score the most points by hitting shots from seven designated locations on the court within a 70-second time limit

2026 NBA State Farm 3-Point Contest

The eight-player field features five 2026 All-Stars and two former champions. Notably, Damian Lillard is participating despite being sidelined for the entire 2025–26 regular season while recovering from a torn Achilles.

2026 NBA AT&T Slam Dunk Contest

AT&T Slam Dunk will feature a two-round format, with judges scoring each dunk. In the first round, all four players will attempt two dunks, and the combined score will determine the top two who advance to the final round. Each finalist will then attempt two additional dunks, with the higher combined score determining the champion.

It doesn’t have as much meaning now, but the Eastern Conference holds a 38-28 advantage in the NBA All-Star Game. In the six-year era of team captains, Team LeBron won the first five games before losing in 2023. If the current format remains intact we’ll never see another game like the 2024 edition. The East set an ASG record for points in their 211-186 triumph knocking down a record 42 three-pointers.

What we will see is a player winning the game’s MVP, which is always a popular wager over All-Star Weekend. Teams have fewer players, but in order to get the games squeezed into a single evening they’ll be much shorter. Damian Lillard won the award last season making 11 threes and scoring 39 points. Russell Westbrook joined rarified air in 2016 when he won the award for the second straight year, becoming the first man in NBA history to do that. He's not the only player to be named the game’s MVP multiple times though. Bob Pettit and Kobe Bryant hold the record for the most NBA All-Star Game MVP’s with four, while Shaquille O'Neal, Michael Jordan, and LeBron have won it three times.
