UFC 109 Gustafsson vs Teixeira MMA Betting LinesUFC Fight Night 109, also known as UFC Fight Night: Gustafsson vs. Teixeira, takes place on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden. The main event is a battle between Alexander Gustafsson and Glover Teixeira. These two were supposed to fight a couple of years ago but Gustafsson pulled out due to injury. There is a good chance that the co-main event will have Francis Ngannou taking on Stefan Struve but that bout is not yet official. Only seven bouts have been announced so far for this card, but it should end up with 12 or 13 as normal.

Alexander Gustafsson vs. Glover Teixeira

Gustafsson is 17-4 in his career, while Teixeira is 26-5. Gustafsson is the second-ranked light heavyweight, while Teixeira is ranked third. Gustafsson is 3-1 fighting in front of his home fans and he will be favored in this fight. The winner of this fight could be in line for a title shot against the winner of Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson at UFC 210.

Gustafsson started his career at 15-1 but then he ran into Jon Jones at UFC 165 in 2013. He bounced back to defeat Jimi Manuwa in 2014 but then lost to Anthony Johnson and Daniel Cormier in 2015. He came back to defeat Jan Blachowicz last year.

Teixeira was rolling along at 22-2 until he ran into Jones in 2014. Where have we heard that before? That loss started a downward slide to Teixeira as he lost two of his next five fights. He is coming off a win against Jared Cannonier in February.

Volkan Oezdemir vs. Misha Cirkunov

This should be an interesting battle, as Oezdemir has won his last three fights including a victory against Ovince Saint Preux, while Cirkunov has won eight in a row. Oezdemir is 13-1 in his career, while Cirkunov is 13-2. Oezdemir is ranked as the No. 7 fighter in the latest UFC light heavyweight rankings, while Cirkunov is ranked No. 11.

Magnus Cedenblad vs. Chris Camozzi

Cedenblad is 14-4, while Camozzi is 24-12 in his career. The home crowd edge will be with Cedenblad who is looking to bounce back from a loss to Jack Marshman in November. Camozzi has lost his last two fights, losing to Thales Leites last August and to Dan Kelly in November.

Christian Colombo vs. Damian Grabowski

Colombo comes into this fight at 8-2-1, while Grabowski is 20-4. Colombo is coming off a draw and a loss in his last two fights, while Grabowski has lost two of his last three bouts.

Jack Hermanson vs. Alex Nicholson

Hermanson is 14-3 in his career, while Nicholson is 7-3. Hermanson had won nine straight until a loss to Cezar Ferreira in November. Nicholson has lost two of his last three fights.

Mairbek Taisumov vs. Joquim Silva

Taisumov is 26-5 in his career, including 5-1 in the UFC, while Silva is unbeaten at 9-0 overall and 2-0 in the UFC. Taisumov has won four straight, all by knockout and he has done well in Stockholm in the past, beating Marcin Bandel and Anthony Christodoulou.  The concern for Taisumov is that he has not fought in more than a year. Silva is coming off a quick knockout of Andrew Holbrook last July in Las Vegas.

Pedro Munhoz vs. Damian Stasiak

Munhoz has won his last two fights against Russell Doane and Justin Scoggins to improve his record to 13-2-1, while Stasiak has won his last two fights against Filip Pejic and David Grant to improve to 10-3.
