One of the most important games of the season in the ACC takes place on Saturday as the No. 2 Florida State Seminoles visit the No. 10 Louisville Cardinals in a Week 3 matchup on ABC. The Seminoles are in position to make the College Football Playoff if they win this game as their only other tough game is against Clemson and that one is in Tallahassee. On the other side, the Louisville Cardinals are unbeaten at 2-0 and led by an offense that is averaging 66 points per game, best in the country.... 

The Tennessee Volunteers will try and avoid a letdown on Saturday as they host the Ohio Bobcats on SEC Network. The Volunteers survived against Appalachian State in their opener and then last week Tennessee defeated Virginia Tech 45-24 in front of the biggest crowd in NCAA football history, 156,990 at Bristol Motor Speedway. The Vols will have to avoid overlooking Ohio in this Week 3 matchup on Saturday.... 

The TCU Horned Frogs will look to bounce back after losing in double overtime last week to Arkansas as they host the Iowa State Cyclones on Saturday on FS1. This Week 3 matchup has the Horned Frogs listed as 22.5-point favorites. Iowa State has looked like one of the worst teams in the country so far this season as they lost to FCS foe Northern Iowa in their opener and then last week they were blown off the field by the Iowa Hawkeyes, losing 42-3. TCU comes into this game at 1-1 with a win over ... 

It was ugly, but the No. 21 Baylor Bears put another game in the win column last week after surprisingly struggling in the first half against an SMU team that gave the Bears a much better game than expected. Still, the offense came through when it needed to and now it’s time for the Bears to go on the road for the first time all season. Baylor will square off against the Rice Owls in what should be a Week 3 college football blowout.... 

The Houston Cougars are riding high. Houston is up to No. 6 in the polls and that should mean a spot in the College Football Playoff if it runs the table. The Cougars are looking to become the first mid-major team to win it all in the modern era and Tom Herman has the team humming on all cylinders. They will face their first road test in College Football Week 3 when they have to travel to take on the Cincinnati Bearcats in what very well could be a preview of the AAC Title Game.... 

One of the chase games set to go late Saturday night will have the mighty Oregon Ducks looking to move to 2-0 on the year against a Virginia Cavaliers team that fell at home to Richmond in new head coach Bronco Mendenhall’s Charlottesville debut. With that, the Quack Attack finds itself one of the bigger favorites on the Week 2 board, as well as one of the biggest exposures for bookmakers everywhere.This contest in Week 2 of the regular season will go down Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 10:30 p.m. ET at Autzen Stadium.... 

The San Diego State Aztecs amped their defensive game up tremendously at the end of last season by holding nine of their final ten opponents to 17 or fewer points en route to having the program’s best season in decades. A major test and revenge spot is set to go down in Week 2 when the California Golden Bears invade Qualcomm a year removed from taking a bite of and spitting out Rocky Long’s defense in Berkeley.This matchup in Week 2 of the regular season will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 10:30 p.m. ET at Qualcomm Stadium.... 

The good news for the Arizona State Sun Devils is that they are 1-0 on the season. The bad news is that the offense looked really shaky at the start of last week’s game against NAU. This week, the team will be looking to blow off the first-game jitters as the Devils take on the high-scoring Texas Tech Red Raiders in Week 2 of the regular season at home.... 

The Washington State Cougars seem to be making this a habit. For the second year in a row, the team lost its season opener to a team it should have won big against. Last year it was Portland State who stole the victory in early September and last week the Cougars fell to Eastern Washington, 45-40.... 

College football fans everywhere got their first glimpse of the 2016 season last weekend, and the Texas Longhorns faithful certainly got quite a show. An epic comeback, an emerging young star at quarterback — this victory over Notre Dame had it all. And the thrilling start also has a lot of people thinking this might only be the beginning for Texas this season. This week, the team is looking to go 2-0 against the UTEP Miners.... 

The UCLA Bruins overcame a 15-point fourth-quarter deficit last week to push their game against Texas A&M to overtime, but the offense didn’t quite have enough in the tank to finish the job. When the Bruins return home to take on the UNLV Rebels in Week 2 of the regular season, they will be looking for their first win.... 

The Florida Gators will attempt to find some semblance of an offensive attack while the Kentucky Wildcats will look for their defense to step up in Week 2 when these SEC East rivals collide at the Swamp in front of a nationally televised audience. These squads played to a defensive grinder at Kentucky last season that saw each team combine for less than 500 yards of total offense, but that likely won’t be how this one plays out.... 

After opening their 2016 campaign with a thrilling overtime defeat in Austin last Sunday night, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will return home to the comforts of South Bend, IN where they’ll look to take some aggression out on a Nevada Wolf Pack squad still working out the kinks of implementing a new offensive philosophy. After giving up over 500 yards to the Longhorns, you can bet ND’s defense will have a much different look to it in Week 2.... 

The Wisconsin Badgers should be checking their mailbox for thank you cards from bookmakers all across the country after Paul Chryst’s kids shocked the then No. 5 ranked LSU Tigers 16-14 as decided underdogs last Saturday afternoon at Lambeau Field. The Akron Zips were the only team in the MAC East to win their season opener last week. One of these teams will move to 2-0 in Week 2, and it likely won’t be the one that enters this contest as heavy underdogs.... 

The Auburn Tigers’ defense was able to perform no small feat when it corralled Clemson’s high-powered offense last week. Unfortunately, Auburn’s offense couldn’t do enough and the Tigers fell to Clemson, 19-13.Auburn just missed out on what could have been a big-time upset, and will now aim to take care of business in Week 2 against the Arkansas State Red Wolves. The Tigers are big-time home favorites in this matchup.This matchup in Week 1 of the regular season will take place on Sunday, September 10, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. ET at Jordan-Hare Stadium.... 

For at least one week, the No. 14 Washington Huskies proved the hype was warranted coming into this season. Despite finishing 6-6 in the regular season in 2015, many analysts declared the Huskies the favorite to win the PAC 12 North this season to the surprise of many. With a rather weak schedule for the first third of the season, it will be a while until we see how good this team is and it will likely keep rolling over lightweights until then. The Mississippi State Bulldogs are probably still shaking their heads, trying to make sense of an unfathomable season-opening loss. Mississippi State gave up a 13-point fourth quarter lead to fall, 21-20, to Southern Alabama in a game where it was a four-touchdown favorite.Despite the huge upset loss, Mississippi State is favored again in Week 2 of the regular season when they take on the South Carolina Gamecocks. The North Carolina Tar Heels pushed Georgia to the brink in its season opener but fell short. They will hit the road in Week 2 of the regular season where they hope to rebound against the Illinois Fighting Illini.Even though Illinois had a dominant win in its opener and gets this one at home, the Tar Heels are a double-digit favorite to win. The Northern Illinois Huskies were 10-point favorites in their regular season opener and lost in triple overtime to Wyoming. Now there are legitimate questions about where they fit in the college football landscape. The Huskies will aim to turn it around in Week 2 but have a tough test as they travel to face the South Florida Bulls.South Florida took care of business in its first game and will enter this game as the heavy favorite. Northern Illinois wants to show its season-opening showing wasn’t indicative of its talent level but must play very well to pull the upset.This matchup in Week 2 of the regular season will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 4 p.m. ET at Raymond James Stadium.... 

The Duke Blue Devils will attempt to take down the Wake Forest Demon Deacons for the fifth straight time when the ACC rivals cross paths in Week 2 Saturday afternoon. The Dookies toyed with North Carolina Central last week rolling up 535 total yards en route to the home win and cover, while the Deacs could have possibly lost to the Tulane Green Wave if not for the “Clawfense” once again masking the deficiencies of the offense.This matchup in Week 2 of the regular season will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. ET at Wallace Wade Stadium.... 

The No. 23 Baylor Bears were definitely glad to put the worst offseason in program history and get back out on the field. After a scandal that rocked the university to its foundation, the school cut ties, eventually, with everyone in a position of power that was involved including Art Briles. Briles was the best coach in school history and replacing him will be no easy matter. Interim coach Jim Grobe led the Bears to an easy victory over Northwestern State last week, but will face a tougher test when the SMU Mustangs come to Waco in Week 2 College Football action.Kickoff for this regular season Week 2 game is set for Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. ET at McLane Stadium on FS1.... 

The Arkansas Razorbacks averted disaster with a one-point win over Louisiana Tech in its regular season opener. The caliber of play will need to be much higher if they have a chance at springing the upset on the TCU Horned Frogs in Week 2 of the regular season.TCU also didn’t perform impressively in its opener but came away with a win over South Dakota State. In a wild first week of college football, one thing remained constant. The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide were one of the few top-ranked teams that lived up to expectations and then some. Alabama showed once again why it is the hardest team in the country to beat and should be a unanimous No. 1 in the polls after its performance. The Iowa State Cyclones had a lot of optimism coming into the season under new head coach Matt Campbell, but there were questions marks surrounding an offensive line that only returned one player with experience as a starter. That concern ended up being a very real fear in the season opener, as the Cyclones could get nothing going on the ground and dropped a contest to small-school Northern Iowa....
