There is little doubt that Tennessee Vols fans are still riding high after last week’s thrilling win over the Georgia Bulldogs on a Hail Mary pass as time expired. And Georgia fans are experiencing far less exciting emotions.... 

The Auburn Tigers have lost to a pair of ranked teams this season and have more tough games coming up in the second half of the season. The Tigers are 3-2 on the year and must take advantage of a winnable game in a Week 6 matchup against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.... 

The 111^th edition of the Red River Rivalry takes place on Saturday as the Texas Longhorns play the Oklahoma Sooners. This Week 6 matchup that will be played at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas can be seen on FS1. The Longhorns have fallen out of the Top 25 while the Sooners are ranked No. 20. Everything seems to be falling apart for Texas as defensive coordinator Vance Beford was demoted and it is rumored that head coach Charlie Strong will be fired after this season. The Sooners are 10.5-point favorites in this contest.... 

The Stanford Cardinal will try and bounce back from a humiliating loss as they host the Washington State Cougars on Saturday night in Week 6 college football action on ESPN. The Cardinal were routed last week 44-6 by Washington while the Cougars rolled over Oregon. Even though Stanford lost badly last week they are still listed as a 7.5-point favorite against Washington State. History could be on the side of the Cardinal as they have lost two straight games just once since 2010.... 

The Akron Zips are looking to win just their second conference championship in school history and are sitting in good position in the MAC East. The Zips got their conference schedule off to a good start with a road win against Kent State and now have a home game against what might be the worst team in the conference, the Miami (OH) Redhawks. The 3^rd-ranked Clemson Tigers will try and avoid a massive letdown as they visit the Boston College Eagles on Friday night on ESPN. Clemson is coming off a very emotional win last week as they beat Louisville while Boston College is coming off a win over Buffalo. This Week 6 matchup has the Tigers laying big points on the road against a team they have beaten in each of the last five meetings. Although Boston College hasn’t been able to win against Clemson of late, they are 3-2 ATS in the last five meetings including covering the last three. The Tigers opened up as more than two touchdown favorites in this contest.... 

The Florida Gators are expected to be slight home underdogs on Saturday as they host the LSU Tigers in Week 6 action on ESPN. The Tigers began life without Les Miles in spectacular fashion last week as they routed Missouri 42-7. The Tigers did it with Ed Orgeron as interim coach and they did it without Leonard Fournette who was out due to an ankle injury. Derrius Guice rushed for a career-high 163 yards and three TDs in the win. On the other side, the Gators are coming off an ugly 13-6 win over ... 

Heading into the season, the Cincinnati Bearcats and Connecticut Huskies were thought to be two of the favorites to win the AAC’s East Division. However, each side now sits at 0-2 in the conference and their dreams of being crowned conference champions are fleeting. The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers are fresh off a big win over Houston Baptist and will be looking to carry that momentum with them to Louisiana in this Week 6 matchup against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. The Hilltoppers are 3-2 on the season so far.... 

The Memphis Tigers return home looking to rebound in Week 6, after enduring their first loss of the season last week to No. 16 Ole Miss. The Tigers are undefeated at Liberty Bowl Memorial this year and will be sizable favorites.... 

Arkansas State is in desperate need of a win. After finishing 9-4 in 2015, the Red Wolves haven’t won a single game yet this season in four chances heading into a Week 6 showdown against the Georgia Southern Eagles.... 

The non-conference season is over and the Big 12 Conference rolls into week 5 with a full slate of conference games, highlighted by the showdown between the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma State Cowboys. West Virginia looks to stay undefeated by hosting the Kansas State Wildcats and Oklahoma travels to Ft. Worth to face the TCU Horned Frogs. The conference title is up for grabs and right now Baylor and West Virginia have the inside track to bring home the title, but it’s early and a lot can change ... 

The Canes have crept their way up the national rankings each week and hope to continue that accent this week. The Kansas State Wildcats come to town and have been impressive early in the season, sporting a solid offense and a tough defense. Kansas State’s only loss this season came to top-10 foe Stanford and it has the capability to pull this upset.This matchup in Week 5 of the regular season will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. ET at Milan Puskar Stadium.... 

Florida has the more impressive roster and a defense that was playing very well up to last week. The Gators should be able to win this game and will be comfortable favorites to do so, as Vanderbilt has struggled to a 2-2 record.This matchup in Week 5 of the regular season will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at 12 p.m. ET at Vanderbilt Stadium.... 

The Texas Longhorns have already been in a pair of entertaining shootouts this season and could be headed for another. They are coming off a bye and ready to head to Stillwater for a Week 5 showdown against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.... 

The No. 12 Florida State Seminoles did their best to put that blowout loss to No. 3 Louisville behind them last week as they captured a 55-35 win over South Florida. The team will look to build upon that victory in Week 5 as it returns home to take on the North Carolina Tar Heels.... 

This is a big one. The Louisville Cardinals and the Clemson Tigers are both college playoff contenders this season and the two ACC powerhouses will go head to head in this Week 5 matchup.... 

The South Florida Bulls and the Cincinnati Bearcats are both 3-1 heading into Week 5 and the conference foes will go head-to-head this week. The Bulls are the current leaders in the American Athletic East while the Bearcats are in third....
