XMMA 4: Black Magic: Dodson vs. Rivera Betting
A bantamweight fight between former UFC fighters John Dodson and Francisco Rivera Jr. will headline XMMA 4: Black Magic on Saturday, April 2 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dodson is 21-13 in his career with 10 knockouts. He is just 1-4 in his last five fights. He lost a unanimous decision last July to Cody Gibson at XMMA 3: Vice City. He lost a unanimous decision to Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 252 in August of 2020, defeated Nathaniel Wood by 3rd round TKO in February of 2020, lost a unanimous decision to Petr Yan in February of 2019 and lost a unanimous decision to Jimmie Rivera in September of 2018.
Rivera Jr. is 14-8 in his career with 10 knockouts. He is 3-2 in his last five fights. He is coming off a 2nd round knockout loss to David Martinez in May of last year. He won a unanimous decision against Nohelin Hernandez in May of last year, won by first round knockout against Adam Martinez in May of last year, won by 1st round TKO against Ryan Lilley in January of last year and lost to Erik Perez in July of 2016.
Another big fight has Kyle Stewart taking on Zak Ottow. Stewart is 14-5 in his career with 10 knockouts, while Ottow is 20-7 with 11 knockouts. Stewart is 3-2 in his last five fights. He is coming off a win against Nah-shon Burrell in October of last year. Ottow is 4-1 in his last five bouts and is coming off a win against Derek Smith earlier this year.
Another good matchup has Kyle Bochniak taking on Carlton Minus. Bochniak comes into this fight with a record of 10-5 and he has thrived in XMMA, as he defeated Caio Urugtui at XMMA 1: Vick vs. Fialho and he won a unanimous decision against Marcus Brimage at XMMA 2: Saunders vs. Nijem. Minus is 11-3 in his career and he is coming off a win against Skyler Schlosser.
