Usman’s only loss in his career was against Jose Caceres by rear-naked choke submission in May of 2013.
Edwards is 19-3 in his career, including 5-0 in his last five fights. He is coming off a unanimous decision win against Nate Diaz in June of last year. Edwards won by unanimous decision against Rafael dos Anjos in July of 2019, won by split decision against Gunnar Nelson in March of 2019, won by unanimous decision against Donald Cerrone in June of 2018, and won by TKO against Peter Sobotta in March of 2018. Edwards’ last loss in his career was against Kamaru Usman by unanimous decision in December of 2015.
Usman and Edwards have faced each other before in December of 2015 and that fight ended in a unanimous decision win for Usman. Usman and Edwards have a combined total of 15 knockout wins and four submission wins.
