Super Bowl LVII Prop Bets - Chiefs vs. Eagles Betting

NFL Super Bowl LVII Prop Bets

The Super Bowl isn’t just a game to determine the champion of the NFL. Not even close. It’s an experience that lasts the entire day. From the hours-long pregame show to the postgame awards ceremony and second-guessing analysis, football fans are bombarded. To make things more interesting and to liven up the game even more, sportsbooks go all out just like the television commercials. And what they’ve come up with is an amazing market of propositional bets.

You don’t have to be a football fan to guess whether or not the coin toss will land on heads or tails. But you can place a wager on it. The halftime show has become a bigger deal than the game itself, and because of that there are a number of prop bets available for intermission activities. And, of course, there is a game between the two best teams in the league unfolding. That’s where the betting really takes place with billions of dollars wagered on which team wins as well as the performance of certain players. Welcome to the world of Super Bowl props.

Super Bowl LVII between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will air live on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. ET from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ. The game will be televised on FOX.

NFL Super Bowl LVII Prop Bets Odds

There is a huge variety of prop bets available so get a head start and view them now to get familiar with the market and where you would like to invest. Player props are all about numbers so it’s only fitting that skill position players on offense get most of the attention. And since the quarterbacks handle the football on nearly every play, they are the ones getting plenty of action. Between them, Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes have thrown for nearly 10,000 yards and 69 touchdowns without a postseason interception. But alas, it’s a team game and there are other players on the field. Instead of looking at quarterback props, let’s delve into other players and see where money can be made.

Travis Kelce Total Pass Receptions

Over 7.5 ( +100 )

Under 7.5 ( -130 )

The Chiefs like to throw the football and Mahomes is really good at it. With Tyreek Hill traded away last offseason, Travis Kelce became more of a target. And he was hard to stop even when opponents knew what was coming. Kelce finished the season with a career-high 110 receptions and he’s averaged 10.5 receptions this postseason. Mahomes will need to throw the ball quickly against Philly’s pass rush and Kelce is the security blanket. Moving the football might be a difficult chore, but the Chiefs will use the recipe for success that made them the highest scoring team in the NFL during the season with Kelce a big piece.

Prediction: OVER ( +100 )

Football Betting Bonus

Haason Reddick QB Sacks

1 plus ( -167 )

2 plus ( +225 )

Of course there’s a prop for sacks and it’s a good idea to consider the top sack getter for the top sack team. The Eagles led the NFL with 70 sacks, the third highest total in NFL history, with Haason Reddick getting 16 to rank third during the season. One thing in Reddick’s favor is the health of Mahomes, who’s dealing with an ankle injury. The time off will help Mahomes heal but his injury is the kind that lingers and he will be vulnerable. Reddick had a pair of sacks in the NFC Championship and I’d drop some coin on him getting one in the Super Bowl. Heck, with the difference in the price you might as well throw down on a pair of sacks for a better payout.

Prediction: 2 Plus ( +225 )

Isiah Pacheco Total Rushing Yards

Over 48.5 ( -114 )

Under 48.5 ( -114 )

Defending the run was the weakest part of the Eagles defense during the regular season finishing in the middle of the pack. KC doesn’t run the ball a ton, but with Mahomes dealing with a sore ankle it’s something Andy Reid will game plan. And Pacheco is a lot like Christian McCaffrey with his speed and elusiveness that gave Philly problems. McCaffrey rushed for 84 yards in the NFC Championship and probably would’ve had more if the Niners had a healthy QB who could at least threaten to pass. Pacheco rushed for more than 50 yards 10 times during the regular season and had 95 rushing yards against Jacksonville in the divisional round.

Prediction: OVER 48.5 ( -114 )
