Saints at Giants - NFL Week 4 Online Spreads

When we think of the New Orleans Saints, points and yards immediately come to mind. They’ve been one of the most efficient offensive teams since Sean Payton and Drew Brees teamed up in 2006, consistently ranking among the NFL’s best in both categories. And it doesn’t like like Brees is slowing down anytime soon. The New York Giants added Saquon Barkley in the draft to help the run game and make the G-Men more dangerous on that side of the football. The results have been mixed, but there’s no denying that with Odell Beckham Jr. on the outside, New York has the weapons to score. And the Saints haven’t stopped anyone yet, so think points when you bet this game at BookMaker.eu.

New Orleans Saints -3

New York Giants +3

Over/Under 50

The Saints are at it again this season with Brees leading the way. In last week’s win over the Falcons, Brees was unstoppable throwing for 396 yards and three touchdowns while adding two more scores on the ground, including the game-winner in overtime. The Saints won the game outright as a 1.5-point underdog, winning against the spread for the first time this season.

Without Mark Ingram to shoulder some of the load in the running game, Brees has thrown at least 35 passes in every game and had 49 attempts last week. Ingram will serve the final game of his suspension this week and you can expect Brees to unload in the passing game again so look for the in-game betting feature at BookMaker.eu and go with the Saints quarterback to reach the over on his total passing attempts.

Hey Alvin

Brees has enjoyed so much success throwing the football thanks to Alvin Kamara, who caught 15 passes last week. He also carried the rock 16 times and returned three punts for a total of 34 touches. Payton lost confidence in Mike Gillislee after some ball security issues and Kamara will be used extensively against the Giants in the final game before his sidekick Ingram is scheduled to return. When the Saints have the football check the live betting platform at BookMaker.eu and expect Kamara to get his share carries, catches and yards.

The Saints have only two rushing touchdowns from their backs, so don’t expect them to punch the ball in on the ground. Instead look for Brees to hook up with Michael Thomas for the team’s first touchdown. Thomas set a NFL record for most catches in the first three weeks and he rarely misses, hauling in 38 of his 40 targets. He’s also become a presence in the red zone for Brees, giving him more opportunities to cash in.

Brees has completed better than 80 percent of his passes for the season and his eight touchdowns are tied for the second-most. He’s able to pick teams apart when given time to throw and his line has done a nice job allowing just five sacks. The Giants, meanwhile, have struggled to generate a pass rush with only four quarterback takedowns. Brees will come out firing and the Giants will test the Saints suspect pass defense with OBJ, allowing the teams to exceed the first half point total.

Football is a funny game. Just because something works one week doesn’t mean it’s going to work the following week. But the Saints have been consistently good throwing the football and with an abundance of weapons at Brees’ disposal, bet on the Saints at BookMaker.eu to throw a lot.

The Giants showed signs of life offensively in last week’s win over the Texans with a balanced attack. Eli Manning was sacked four times, though, and the line continues to have problems protecting their quarterback. In an effort to improve their numbers against the pass, the Saints will bring more pressure and they will get few sacks, but that also opens up the secondary and the Giants will get their share of points in a game that goes over the final total.
