Arc Horse Racing Betting
The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, commonly referred to as the Arc, is a Group 1 horse race that is held in Paris France at Longchamp Racecourse each October. The race is run at a distance of a mile and a half and usually takes place on the first Sunday in October. The 2019 Arc will be held on Sunday, October 6. The defending champion of the Arc is Enable who will be looking to become the first horse in history to win the race three times. Early odds have Enable as the favorite at odds of 7-2, while last year’s runner-up, Sea of Class is the second choice at odds of 7-1.

Arc
The Arc is the most prestigious horse race in Europe and almost always features marquee horses from around the world. It is the second richest turf race in the world behind only The Everest. The race is held at Longchamp Racecourse in Paris, France at a distance of a mile and a half. The race dates back to 1920 when it was won by Comrade for a prize of 150,000 francs.
The Arc is currently sponsored by the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) and that sponsorship goes back to 2008. The prize pool doubled when QREC took over and it is now up to $5 million. There are seven races on Arc weekend that are classified as Grade 1 and four Grade 2 races. The weekend also features the Arabian World Cup for purebred Arabian horses. The Arc was held in Chantilly in 2016 and in 2017 due to renovations at Longchamp.
