2024 Breeders' Cup Betting Online
The 2024 Breeders’ Cup takes place on Friday, November 1st and Saturday November, 2nd at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club in Del Mar, California. All 14 Breeders’ Cup races have a purse of at least $1 million, and the best two-year-old horses in the country are highlighted in the Juvenile races on Friday. Horses that are three years of age or older take part in the Saturday races, and the Breeders’ Cup Classic will have a $7 million purse. Friday’s races take place from 5 pm Eastern to 7:40 pm Eastern, while Saturday’s coverage is from 2:30 pm Eastern to 8 pm Eastern. Television coverage of the Breeders’ Cup will be provided by NBC, Peacock and USA Network.

The Breeders' Cup continues to grow and add races to its repertoire on an annual basis. This event was once just four races, but it has grown to include as many as 14 races over two full days of racing in any given year. The 2024 Breeders’ Cup will feature 14 races, five of which are held on Friday, and the remaining nine of which will encompass the best day of racing of the year on Saturday.
It’s a great two days as the first day features two-year-old horses that will be competing for the Triple Crown the following year. This will be the first time that these horses are seen by millions, and fortunes will be won or lost. The second day will feature the best of the best, although some owners are reticent to run their horses and risk injury if they already won a Triple Crown event.

Mike Smith has been the king of the Breeders’ Cup for the jockeys, winning an absurd 27 titles during his distinguished career. D. Wayne Lukas has been one of the most successful horse racing trainers of the modern era. Lukas’ horses have claimed first place two more times than rival Bob Baffert, but Baffert had two horses win Breeders’ Cup races in 2022. Baffert has been the trainer of two Triple Crown winners in the last decade, and he is looking to surpass Lukas in this category too.
Baffert is 71 years old, but he is still going strong. He can boast that he produced the two most recent Triple Crown winners in American Pharoah and Justify, and that has led to his star rising once more.
