The United States has a favorable matchup for the Round of 16, as they don’t have to face one of the power teams in the World Cup. That doesn’t mean Netherlands is not a good team, but they are not considered on the same level with Brazil or a team like Belgium. If the United States is going to win a Round of 16 match it just might be this one. The Netherlands was not that impressive in the group stage, as they struggled to get a 1-1 draw against Ecuador and they had to score a couple of late goals to beat Senegal.
The U.S. wasn’t that impressive either, as they struggled to score goals. Their key player is Christian Pulisic and he was banged up in the win over Iran. Pulisic said he is going to play on Saturday and he is the most important player for the United States. The United States needs more players to step up against the Netherlands, including Matt Turner. The Arsenal goalkeeper has been solid and the United States needs him to be great on Saturday. "I think we've obviously played against good competition here. Like England, the Netherlands could be another favorite to win the World Cup.” Adams said to the media, “They've done really well, how they navigated through their group phase of the tournament so far."
"(The Netherlands has) some amazing players," Adams said to the media, "We're gonna have to be ready for that game, but I think right now we enjoy this moment, have some downtime to relax and recover now mentally focus. The coaches will come up with a game plan. It's time for us to execute."

We need our full-backs to be aggressive, and it was good that they showed that today."
I made the mistake of taking the England vs. USA game over the total and I am not making that mistake again. The Netherlands hasn’t looked that good offensively and we know the USA is struggling to create many chances. I will go under the total with the USA and the Netherlands on Saturday.
