  • BookMaker.eu Over the past five years, the New York Red Bulls have dominated the Hudson River Derby. The Red Bulls have a 9-2-4 record against New York City FC, and they knocked off NYCFC 2-1 back in July thanks to a brace from Daniel Royer. They will look to extend their run on Saturday and improve their position in the fight to make the Eastern Conference playoffs....

  • BookMaker.eu As the only two teams in the southeast, it’s only natural that there would be a rivalry between Atlanta United and Orlando City SC. However, while there is a lot of animosity between fans of the two teams, it hasn’t been much of a rivalry. Atlanta has won five of the six meetings between these clubs with the other match ending as a draw. Additionally, the Five Stripes have shut the Lions out on four occasions....

  • BookMaker.eu The Cascadia Cup is up for grabs this Friday when the Portland Timbers host the Seattle Sounders. Portland is ahead of both Seattle and Vancouver in the race for the regional trophy, so any result for the Timbers would give the club their third Cascadia Cup in the MLS era. It would also be a boon to their playoff chances after a disappointing home loss to Atlanta United on Sunday....

  • BookMaker.eu Sporting Kansas City’s chances of being a playoff team once more are rapidly diminishing. Injuries have wreaked havoc on this team this season, and we have seen Sporting KC go from the best team in the Western Conference in 2018 to the 10th place team this season. They are six points outside the playoff picture and desperate for a win when Minnesota United FC come to town on Thursday night. Minnesota United FC are sitting in second place in the Western Conference....

  • BookMaker.eu Atlanta United have a chance to move into a tie with the Philadelphia Union for first place in the Eastern Conference with a win over the Portland Timbers on Sunday. The defending MLS Cup champions are sitting on 42 points, and they have won four of their last five matches. However, they have not been sharp on the road, and the Five Stripes haven’t secured a result away from Atlanta since beating Vancouver 1-0 back in May....

  • BookMaker.eu The Los Angeles Galaxy are happy to be back at home. They have lost three straight road games, and that has sent the club spiraling downwards in the standings. The Galaxy are trying to avoid dropping out of the playoff race, like we saw them do at the end of last season, but they are only three points clear with 10 games left to play. This club needs a win in a big way, but the Seattle Sounders won’t be an easy team to topple....

  • BookMaker.eu Atlanta United have the best home record of any team in the Eastern Conference, and the Five Stripes are out to defend their home turf when they face New York City FC on Sunday. NYCFC have one of the best road records of any team in the MLS, and they have lost just four games total all year. The visitors are currently in fifth place in the Eastern Conference, but NYCFC are averaging more points per game than any other team in the conference save Philadelphia....

  • BookMaker.eu Los Angeles FC are the best team in the MLS by a mile. LAFC are lapping the field in the race for the Supporters Shield, and the club is probably going to go down as the best in the history of the MLS. There is an off chance they finish the year with more than 100 goals, and their +38 goal differential is just absurd. They are heavy favorites per the MLS betting odds entering their match with the New York Red Bulls this weekend....

  • BookMaker.eu The Los Angeles Galaxy are ready to start playing at home again after three straight abysmal performances away from home. The Galaxy’s road woes began in late June when they lost 3-0 to San Jose, and they have only been exacerbated in recent weeks. They were hammered 4-0 by Portland two weeks ago and Atlanta United dealt them a 3-0 beatdown last week. That has seen the Galaxy drop to fifth place in the Western Conference and they will look to stop the bleeding when they travel to the nation’s ca...

  • BookMaker.eu It’s been a very disappointing season for Sporting Kansas City. Hopes were high that the franchise could win another MLS Cup after finishing atop the Western Conference standings in 2018, but they are sitting in 10th place with 25 points entering their game with the Seattle Sounders on Sunday night. Sporting KC’s once stolid defense has buckled, and their 39 goals allowed are the third-most given up in the conference....

  • BookMaker.eu The Portland Timbers are back on the road for the second-to-last time this season. Portland has been enjoying playing in revamped Providence Park, and their stretch of good performances at home has them in position to make the playoffs. They will take on Minnesota United FC this Sunday, and the Loons have also been playing well. They are in fifth place in the Western Conference with 35 points and looking to make the postseason for the first time in franchise history....

  • BookMaker.eu First place in the Eastern Conference could be on the line when DC United host the Philadelphia Union in the nation’s capital this weekend. These two teams have combined to be on top of the conference for nearly the entire year. DC United started off the season strong, and after they tailed off a bit, Philadelphia took the reins. Both teams have been a bit out of sorts in recent weeks though and are out to get back on track....

  • BookMaker.eu We’re entering the final two months of the regular season, and it’s time for contenders to separate themselves from the pack. Atlanta United and the Los Angeles Galaxy have been two of the best teams in the league this season, and they are looking to put some distance between themselves and their conference foes. Both teams are currently set to be hosts in the first round of the playoffs, and both are looking to erase tough losses last week....

  • BookMaker.eu The Portland Timbers have begun their long climb back. They have earned a result in five straight matches, and they know they are ready to launch themselves skywards in the standings with only two road games remaining in the regular season. After going on the road to knock off the Seattle Sounders in a Cascadia Cup match last weekend, they return home to face the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday....

  • BookMaker.eu Last year’s MLS Cup champions and this year’s favorite to win the MLS Cup will meet for the lone time in the regular season this Friday night when LAFC host Atlanta United. LAFC are on pace to score even more goals than Atlanta did when they set the league on fire last season, and they are looking for revenge here. The Five Stripes dealt LAFC their worst loss of the year in 2018, winning 5-0 with three goals coming in the last ten minutes of the match....

  • BookMaker.eu Fatigue is going to be a major factor for DC United going into a game with Atlanta United on Sunday afternoon. While both teams have played midweek games, Atlanta had the luxury of playing at home on Wednesday and they will host this match. Meanwhile, DC United must face FC Cincinnati on the road on Thursday night before traveling to Hotlanta for this match and will have less than 72 hours of rest between games. That has led to oddsmakers installing the Five Stripes as heavy favorites per the MLS betting odds. ...

  • BookMaker.eu Los Angeles FC have been the best team in the MLS all season, and they are on pace to go down as the best team in the history of the league. LAFC are 14-2-4 this season, and they already have a double-digit lead in the race to win the Supporter’s Shield. Now, for the first time this season, they will face the more established city in LA when they take on the Los Angeles Galaxy in El Trafico....

  • BookMaker.eu Home sweet home. That’s what the Portland Timbers are feeling now after 12 straight games on the road to start the season. Portland has done well enough on the road that the club isn’t too far out of the playoff picture despite the impossible schedule, and the Timbers will be playing their fifth road game of the season against Orlando City SC on Thursday night. The Lions are a respectable 3-4-3 on the road this season, but the MLS betting odds have them unlikely to pick up a result in this one....

  • BookMaker.eu Are FC Cincinnati in the middle of turning things around? The expansion franchise has been stuck in last place for most of the season, and at one point from mid-April to the end of June they had lost 11 of 12 matches....

  • BookMaker.eu The two teams with the most rapid fan support in the MLS will square off on Sunday night when Atlanta United makes the long trip to the Pacific Northwest to take on the Seattle Sounders....

  • BookMaker.eu The New England Revolution are nearly there. New England was at or near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings for the first three months of the season, but they have turned things around in recent weeks. Since hiring Bruce Arena, the Revolution have posted seven straight results with four wins and three draws over that stretch. What looked to be the league’s worst defense has improved markedly, and they will be out to grab all three points against DC United on Friday night....

  • BookMaker.eu The New York Red Bulls and Atlanta United are each looking to bounce back after getting shellacked on Wednesday night. Atlanta United went to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Fire, and they quickly realized they would not get a result. Chicago scored two goals in seven minutes, and a straight red card for Leandro Gonzalez Pirez in the 11th minute put the Five Stripes down 10 men. It was all academic from there as the Fire cruised to a 5-1 win....

  • BookMaker.eu Minnesota United FC are hoping that they can make the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. The Loons have failed to make the postseason in their first two years, instead watching expansion partner Atlanta United hoist an MLS Cup. They are currently in playoff position, and they are hoping to give themselves some breathing room when they take on FC Cincinnati this weekend. Cincinnati have a 3-12-2 record this season and they are currently five points behind the next-worst team in the...

  • BookMaker.eu It’s been a long time coming. The Portland Timbers will finally be able to return home this weekend after spending the first three months of the season on the road. Providence Park has been undergoing much-needed renovations, and without another suitable venue in the area, the Timbers were forced to go on the road. They performed about as well as they could given the circumstances, and now they will be at home for 17 of their last 22 regular season games. However, their return home could very we...

  • BookMaker.eu One of the best defenders in the history of the MLS has decided to step away from the game. The Seattle Sounders’ Chad Marshall has been dealing with a number of injuries over the last few seasons, and he has finally made the decision to call it a career. Marshall is the only player in the history of the league to be named MLS Defender of the Year on three separate occasions, and the Sounders will miss his presence in the back line. With the Sounders currently in second place, that news could ma...
