  • BookMaker.eu It’s been an incredible season for Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs have come on like a freight train over the last few months, and they are now in second place in the Premier League standings. Tottenham have 45 points and are a point ahead of reigning champions Manchester City, and Spurs might have the best chance to catch Liverpool given City’s recent struggles. They will face a bit of a challenge this weekend though when they take on Wolverhampton....

  • BookMaker.eu All of a sudden, Liverpool are the favorites to win the Premier League. The Reds were just trying to keep pace with Manchester City for much of the season, but they are now the team to beat in England after the Citizens struggles in recent weeks. Liverpool are six points up on the field at the halfway point of the campaign, but they face a rather tough test this week. A quality Arsenal side comes to town, and the Gunners won’t be willing to just roll over....

  • BookMaker.eu Southampton are hoping to just avoid the drop this season. This is the Saints’ seventh straight season in the Premier League, yet their fortunes have waned as the club has sold off their star players (mostly to Liverpool). They barely avoided relegation last year with Mark Hughes steering them from the drop zone to safety on the last day of the season, and management would be happy with another finish outside the bottom three. Southampton are sitting in 16th place with one game to play before th...

  • BookMaker.eu Happy Boxing Day everyone! The day after Christmas is a holiday in English-speaking countries outside the United States, and football has become the best way to celebrate it. There will be nine Premier League games on Boxing Day, and there will be a rare quadruple header to maximize the entertainment. The third game of that nationally televised slate will be the tilt between hard-charging Arsenal and middle of the table Brighton & Hove Albion....

  • BookMaker.eu Chelsea’s first year under Maurizio Sarri has been an interesting ride. Sarri has certainly livened things up after the Antonio Conte era, yet the Blues are in for a fight when it comes to improving their place in the table. They are tied with Arsenal for fourth place in the standings, and they have a tougher test than their counterparts on Boxing Day when the league will officially reach its halfway point. Chelsea must travel to Vicarage Road and take on a Watford club that is currently seventh...

  • BookMaker.eu Tottenham Hotspur have been living a charmed life over the last month or so. The club rallied from a precarious position in order to qualify for the knockout rounds of the Champions League, and they have improved their position in the Premier League too. Spurs are currently in third place with 39 points, and they are two points up on Chelsea and five points up on Arsenal. They are hoping to maintain their place when they travel to Goodison Park to take on Everton this week....

  • BookMaker.eu Arsenal are hoping to not fall too far behind the lead pack this week when they take on Burnley. The Gunners are currently sitting in fifth place in the Premier League table, and they are three points behind Chelsea for the last Champions League spot next season. They are heavy favorites per the Premier League betting line against Burnley this week. The Clarets are simply hoping to avoid relegation after a dreadful first half of the year....

  • BookMaker.eu Manchester United did not show Jose Mourinho any Christmas spirit with their decision to sack him on Tuesday. Most considered Mourinho safe from the axe until January after piloting the Red Devils to the Champions League Round of 16 and moving them up the Premier League table, but the board decided that enough was enough. Interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will take over while the club looks for a permanent replacement, and he will lead them into their tilt with Cardiff City this Saturday....

  • BookMaker.eu Heading into the holiday season, Liverpool are in an unfamiliar spot. The Reds are atop the Premier League standings, and they are looking to stay at the head of the pack. As has been mentioned dozens of times, Liverpool have yet to win a Premier League title despite all their previous domestic success, and the club is eager to end that drought. They will face another tough test when they take on the Wolverhampton Wanderers this Friday though....

  • BookMaker.eu It’s been a fast rise up the table for West Ham. Just two weeks ago, the Hammers were one of a half-dozen teams slogging their way through the bottom of the table, doing just enough to stay ahead of potential relegation. Now, the Hammers are right in the thick of things in the middle of the table, and they are just three points back of Everton. They will look to keep their streak of positive results alive when they face bottom of the table Fulham....

  • BookMaker.eu Tuesday was a day for celebration in North London. Tottenham Hotspur qualified for the Champions League Round of 16 by pulling out a late draw against Barcelona in Camp Nou after PSV Eindhoven stunned Inter Milan by playing the Italians to a 1-1 draw in Milan. That sent all four English teams through to the knockout rounds of the Champions League, and those four teams are looking to make the most of their opportunity come February. Until then, Tottenham will turn their attention back to the Prem...

  • BookMaker.eu Ladies and gentlemen, we have a title race. Manchester City dropped points for the first time all season last week against Chelsea, and they are now trailing Liverpool in the table. The Citizens are one point behind the Reds, and they are out to get back in front of Liverpool prior to Boxing Day. To do that, Manchester City will need to keep getting victories and hope that Liverpool drops points at some time over the next couple weeks. This week, City are out to grab a win over Everton....

  • BookMaker.eu Liverpool are in an unfamiliar place nearly halfway through the season, the top of the table. It’s been a great last week for the Reds. They are leading the Premier League following a Manchester City loss to Chelsea and are looking to win their first-ever Premier League title. Liverpool were also able to advance to the knockout round of the Champions League on Tuesday with a 1-0 victory over Napoli and are now waiting for word on who they will play. They are hoping to keep the good times rolling...

  • BookMaker.eu Defense has been the calling card for Everton this season. The Toffees have leaned on their back line throughout the season, and it has paid off. They are currently in sixth place in the table, and allowing just 17 goals this season has been the reason behind their success. Everton are looking to pick up a win and remain the frontrunner for a potential Europa League spot when they face Watford on Monday. The Hornets are currently 11th in the table, but they are just three points back of Everton....

  • BookMaker.eu Before the Premier League season got underway, the Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United had designs on more than just staying up. Both clubs spent heavily this offseason, and they were out to finish in the top half of the table and perhaps do more. Each team has somewhat readjusted expectations through the first part of the season, with Newcastle United simply looking to stay afloat while Wolves are focused on finishing in the top half of the table....

  • BookMaker.eu Tottenham Hotspur find themselves in an enviable spot through 15 games of the Premier League. Spurs are sitting in third place in the table, and they have performed very well in recent weeks, jumping over both Chelsea and Arsenal. This weekend, they will be looking to give themselves some breathing room when they take on Leicester City. The Foxes are in the middle of the table, and they have yet to pick up a result against any of the top clubs in England....

  • BookMaker.eu Chelsea’s hold on a spot in the top four is pretty tenuous heading into their match with Manchester City in the Premier League Game of the Week this Saturday. The Citizens have yet to lose a game this season, and they already boast a goal differential of +38. They are on pace to finish the year with 114 goals, and that would smash their own record that they set last year. Meanwhile, the Blues are tied for fourth place with London rival Arsenal, and they only have the edge due to a better goal di...

  • BookMaker.eu AFC Bournemouth are looking to give their European dreams a shot in the arm when they host Liverpool this Saturday. The Cherries have surpassed expectations to this point of the season, and the goal now is to somehow find a way to qualify for European competition. That is something Bournemouth have been unable to do in their history. Bournemouth are currently in sixth place in the table heading into their bout with Liverpool....

  • BookMaker.eu Fulham are desperate to move out of the cellar of the Premier League. The Cottagers have been in last place for much of the season, and their defense has been to blame. They are allowing 2.5 goals per game on average, far more than any other team in the EPL, and that might lead to them sinking back down to Championship in May. That would be a disaster right before Premier League payouts are set to drastically increase with a new television deal, and Fulham spent nearly 100 million pounds this of...

  • BookMaker.eu Old rivals will meet in the middle of the week when Manchester United host Arsenal this Wednesday. The Gunners are flying high coming into this game. They are fresh off a scintillating 4-2 victory over North London rival Tottenham Hotspur, and they are looking to further solidify their place in the standings against the Red Devils this week. As for Manchester United, they continue to muddle about and they are now eight points outside of the top four....

  • BookMaker.eu Derby day continues in Sunday’s second match when Arsenal host Tottenham Hotspur in a clash of North London clubs. This is one of the most heated rivalries in the Premier League, and the two teams have met nearly 200 times over the last century. In the 195 prior matches between these two clubs, Arsenal have won 81 times, compared to just 63 wins for Tottenham, and there have been 51 draws. However, while the Gunners have historically controlled the series, they have won just once in their last e...

  • BookMaker.eu The Merseyside Derby will conclude this week of action in the Premier League and be the final derby on a tripleheader of derbies on Sunday. This derby was once known as the friendly derby, but passions have been inflamed over the last three decades, and since the inception of the Premier League this derby has seen more red cards than any other. Liverpool have had the better of Everton recently in this rivalry, and they will look to continue that trend here. However, the Toffees are looking stron...

  • BookMaker.eu There should be plenty of goals on Sunday in Stamford Bridge when Chelsea hosts Fulham in a West London derby. The Cottagers have the worst defense in the Premier League by a frightening margin. Fulham have allowed 33 goals in 13 matches, putting them on pace to surrender nearly 100 goals this season. Meanwhile, Chelsea are tied for having scored the second-most goals this campaign, and the Blues are looking to let out some frustration....

  • BookMaker.eu If you’re a fan of AFC Bournemouth, you have to be happy with how the season has gone through the first third. The Cherries are currently in eighth place with a 6-2-5 record, and they have a chance to qualify for a European competition for the first time in their history. Recently, the club has fallen into a bit of a slump though as the hammer of the Premier League schedule has hit them head on. Bournemouth will continue to face the cream of the crop this week when they travel to the Etihad to t...

  • BookMaker.eu Mission accomplished for Manchester United. The Red Devils are in love with embattled manager Jose Mourinho once more after qualifying for the knockout rounds of the Champions League on Tuesday. In a hard-fought clash against Young Boys at Old Trafford, Manchester United pulled out a 1-0 victory to advance ahead of Valencia. Marouane Fellaini was the hero of the day for scoring in extra time to get the win and Mourinho celebrated by smashing a chair on the touchline. It’s unlikely we’ll see that...
