MLS Betting Odds

We’re about a quarter of the way through the MLS season, and we have started to see a little bit of separation. The two Los Angeles teams look like two of the MLS Cup favorites. Los Angeles FC and the Los Angeles Galaxy are the only two teams in the league with more than 20 points, and they are running neck and neck with one another. That will be a race to watch throughout the year.

Meanwhile, at the bottom of the table, the Colorado Rapids have yet to win a match, and the Vancouver Whitecaps and New England Revolution haven’t been much better.

MLS Betting Odds at BookMaker.eu

New York Red Bulls +101
Los Angeles Galaxy +245
Draw +266
Over/Under 2.5 and 3

It’s hard not to like the Los Angeles Galaxy at these odds. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is averaging nearly a goal per game with the Galaxy, and the Red Bulls have already lost two of their four home games this season.

Montreal Impact +120
New York City FC +214
Draw +250
Over/Under 2.5 and 3

Montreal has held opponents without a goal in five of their last six games, and the Impact have looked really strong in the back. The club is desperate to get star Ignacio Piatti back from a knee injury, but they have performed admirably without him to this point.

Houston Dynamo -117
FC Dallas +299
Draw +274
Over/Under 2.5 and 3

This is the first Texas Derby of the year, and both of these teams are in position to make the playoffs. Houston has yet to lose in five games at home, so I’m going to give the Dynamo the edge here.

Orlando City SC +116
Toronto FC +205
Draw +271
Over/Under 3 and 3.5

Goals could come in bunches here as Toronto games have had a lot of fireworks. There have been a total of 32 goals in seven Toronto games, and last week’s three goal total against Portland was the lowest scoring game this season. Orlando City is going to be willing to trade chances, so we might see five or more goals here.

DC United +102
Columbus Crew +262
Draw +246
Over/Under 2.5

These teams met in Columbus just 10 days ago, and DC United pulled out a 1-0 victory over the Crew. DC United bookended that win with two losses, so Wayne Rooney and company are looking to pick up a win here.

Minnesota United +113
Seattle Sounders +216
Draw +264
Over/Under 2.5 and 3

A new stadium has helped spark Minnesota United FC this season. The Loons are looking to make the playoffs for the first time in their history, and they are in good position to do so. However, the Seattle Sounders are the best team in the league outside of Los Angeles. Seattle has a bevy of talented goal scorers, and I think they will find a good amount of success here.

Real Salt Lake +117
Portland Timbers +203
Draw +271
Over/Under 3

The Timbers have taken the term road warriors to a new level. Portland is now more than halfway through a dizzying start that sees the club travel to face 11 straight opponents away from home. It looked like they would dig too big of a hole for themselves, but they have won their last two matches and have played better on the road.

Los Angeles FC -231
Chicago Fire +540
Draw +383
Over/Under 3 and 3.5

Carlos Vela has had a great season. Vela is running away with the Golden Boot with 11 goals in 10 matches, and his five assists in that stretch are nothing to sneeze at either. He might be the next superstar to leave for greener pastures at this point, as there is growing speculation he won’t be long for the MLS.
