The Ohio State Buckeyes could be the best two-loss team in the country. WIll that be enough to make the College Football Playoff? It’s too early to tell, but one thing Ohio State knows is it can’t afford to fall again. The Michigan Wolverines would like nothing more than to spoil those chances when the bitter rivals face off in Week 14 of the regular season.... 

The Louisville Cardinals may not be in the national championship conversation any longer, but they have still put together a nice season. They will aim to wrap up the regular season on a high note and set themselves up for a strong bowl game. Louisville will hit the road to face off against the Kentucky Wildcats in Week 14 of the college football season.... 

The Oklahoma Sooners are two wins away from earning a spot in the College Football Playoff. Many people have Oklahoma as the best one-loss team due to its win over Ohio State in Columbus and they may have the best chance of any team to make it at this point. The Sooners need to knock off the West Virginia Mountaineers this week and then have a probable date with TCU in the Big 12 Championship Game. West Virginia would love to play spoiler though after having it done to them 10 years ago by Pittsburgh.... 

The South Carolina Gamecocks have had a good year. Will Muschamp has this team at 8-3 and they are the second-best team in the SEC East. The defense has been very solid all year long and Jake Bentley has proven to be competent. Now, the Gamecocks get a chance to really make a mark on their season. The Clemson Tigers are ranked No. 3 in the country and are looking to win their fourth straight Palmetto Bowl. Knocking off Clemson would guarantee a good bowl for South Carolina and ruin their rival’s chance of getting to the College Football Playoff.... 

The rivalry between the Florida State Seminoles and Florida Gators has often been an elite matchup of two of the best teams in the country. Not this season. Both sides have struggled mightily in 2017, sitting under .500 on the year and in danger of missing bowl games.... 

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will see their regular season come to an end this week when they take on the Stanford Cardinal. Notre Dame had hoped to make it into the College Football Playoff, but losses to Georgia and Miami did this team in. Stanford still has its eyes set on the PAC 12 North title and a potential rematch with USC in the PAC 12 Championship Game. If Washington beats Washington State in the Apple Cup on Saturday, then the Cardinal will get into the game by virtue of knocking off... 

The winner of the Iron Bowl has gone on to play for the national championship in seven of the last eight seasons. That statement has not been lost on either the Alabama Crimson Tide or the Auburn Tigers. Whoever wins this meeting will win the SEC West and put itself in position to make the College Football Playoff with a win over Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. This game has given us many memorable moments over the years, and might just give us another one in 2017.Watch this regular season... 

The Texas Longhorns are going bowling for the first time since 2014. Texas went into Morgantown and upset West Virginia as a short underdog last week in order to get that precious sixth win. The win also guaranteed the Longhorns a winning record in Big 12 play for the first time in the last three years. Now, the Longhorns can guarantee themselves their first winning season since 2013 if they beat the Texas Tech Red Raiders. That’s easier said than done though as Texas Tech has played most oppone... 

What a turnaround we have seen from the Missouri Tigers. Mizzou started the season 1-5 and it looked like any hopes of a bowl game were shot after getting blown out by South Carolina, Purdue, Auburn, and Georgia. However, the Tigers didn’t panic and didn’t make a rash decision to fire Barry Odom after the start and instead stayed the course. Now, Odom is safe after the Tigers have won five straight games in dominating fashion, beating every opponent by at least four touchdowns. The Georgia Bulldogs are having their best season in a decade and still control their destiny for a spot in the College Football Playoff. Georgia locked up the SEC East a couple weeks ago when it beat South Carolina and will be playing in the SEC Championship Game for the first time in five years. The Bulldogs are already preparing for the winner of the Iron Bowl, you can be sure, but must be sure not to sleep on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. With one week to go in the regular season, both divisions are set. Wisconsin beat Michigan, 24 - 10, to lock up the Big Ten West and with the Wolverines losing, Ohio State sealed the Big Ten East. The Buckeyes beat Illinois 56 - 14 to set up the meeting with the Badgers in the championship game.Elsewhere in Week 12, Indiana shut out Rutgers 41 - 0. Northwestern won their sixth game in a row by crushing Minnesota, 39 - 0. Behind Saquon Barkley’s three touchdowns, Penn State rolled Nebraska 56 - 44. Michigan State slides by Maryland 17 - 7 and Purdue upset the Hawkeyes in Iowa City, 24 - 14.... 

The UCF Knights will play their one true rival on Black Friday in an attempt to finish up the regular season undefeated. UCF is 10-0 and looking like one of the top teams in the country heading into this game. Only one team has finished within single digits of the Knights this season, and that was a solid SMU team, who got a little lucky to stay so close. The South Florida Bulls will have their work cut out for them if they are going to keep it within the number.Watch this regular season Week 13... 

All the Akron Zips need to do is beat the Kent State Golden Flashes in order to win the MAC East and earn a spot in the MAC Championship Game. Akron was not good in non-conference play, but is 5-2 in conference with a win over Ohio and in pole position to claim the division. This game will be fierce though as these schools are only 10 miles apart. That has led to some bad blood over the years. These two teams square off for the Wagon Wheel and the Zips have claimed it the last two years.Watch th... 

The Mississippi State Bulldogs have quietly put together another great season. Dan Mullen’s bunch has a chance to go 9-3 with a win over the Ole Miss Rebels in the Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving. As for Ole Miss, the Rebels are looking to become bowl eligible with a win over their in-state rival. The Miami Hurricanes only need to win two more games to claim a spot in the College Football Playoff. It’s been a season to remember for the Hurricanes, who needed last-minute touchdowns to beat Florida State and Georgia Tech, but have come on strong in recent weeks. Miami crushed Virginia Tech and Notre Dame and then rallied to beat Virginia in a letdown situation. Now, the Hurricanes must travel north for the first time in a month. The TCU Horned Frogs just have to knock off the lowly Baylor Bears in order to earn a rematch with the Oklahoma Sooners for the Big 12 title. TCU is the only two-loss team in the conference and sits all alone in second place after Oklahoma State lost to Kansas State last week. The Arizona Wildcats and Arizona State Sun Devils both had coaches on hot seats when the season began. They have both done a solid job of exceeding expectations, and the winner of their “Territorial Cup” rivalry game in Week 14 will likely cement the return of their coach in 2018, while the losing coach could be getting nervous.... 

The Washington Huskies thought that they could get back to the College Football Playoff for the second straight season. Washington looked to be well on its way after starting the season 6-0, but road games against Arizona State and Stanford tripped this team up and now the best the Huskies can hope for is another PAC 12 Championship. They are in line to grab the PAC 12 North, but must best the Utah Utes this week before a pivotal showdown with in-state rival Washington State next week.This matchup in Week 12 of the regular season will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 10:30 p.m. ET at Husky Stadium in Seattle, Washington. This game will be broadcast on ESPN.... 

The Michigan State Spartans may have been blown out by Ohio State last week, but Mark Dantonio’s teams have always been known for their ability to bounce back. Michigan State still has a chance to win a share of the Big Ten East title provided Ohio State loses another game and Sparty wins out, and it will attempt to hold up its end up the bargain this week. The Spartans will take on the Maryland Terrapins at home.This matchup in Week 12 of the regular season will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 4 p.m. ET at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Michigan. This game will be broadcast on FOX.... 

The Oklahoma Sooners may be the favorites to win the Big 12, but the West Virginia Mountaineers are hanging around in the conference race. West Virginia needs to win out and get some help to finish atop the standings, and will aim to do its part in Week 13 by beating the Texas Longhorns.West Virginia has won five of its seven games in conference and is 7-3 overall. Texas has had another tough season with only a 5-5 record and a 4-3 record in the Big 12. While West Virginia has the superior record and the home field advantage, the spread is not very large as the oddsmakers believe this could be a competitive showdown.... 

The Tennessee Volunteers are in a brutal slump, and are hoping a new coach can help bail them out of it. Butch Jones was fired after the team’s most recent game and Brady Hoke has been installed as the interim coach. He hopes to give the team a spark and perhaps some schematic wrinkles in a matchup against the LSU Tigers in Week 13 of the regular season.Tennessee is a heavy underdog despite playing at home as the Vols are winless in SEC play thus far in 2017. LSU is out of the College Football Playoff race but is a solid 7-3 on the season and is hoping to put this one away early to get its eighth win. If the Tigers can establish the run they shouldn’t have much trouble coming away with this victory.... 

The Central Florida Knights are one of the few undefeated teams remaining in college football, but their poor strength of schedule may keep them out of the College Football Playoff. UCF can’t do much about that now, and all it must concentrate on is continuing to rack up the wins. Central Florida will aim to move to 10-0 when it faces off against the Temple Owls in Week 13 of the NCAA football slate. Temple is 5-5 overall and .500 in the conference as well. The Owls are at home and that is an advantage but they will still be the underdogs against their nationally ranked foe. UCF wants to win and win in style as it hopes to somehow sneak into the national semifinals despite playing in a smaller conference. ... 

The U is back baby! The Miami Hurricanes are the hottest team in college football right now and shot up to the No. 3 spot in the latest College Football Playoff rankings as a result of their win over Notre Dame last week. Miami is now in line for the No. 2 overall spot if it wins out and Hard Rock Stadium should be a sight to see with thousands of turnover chains shining in the bright Florida sun this weekend. Now, the goal is to avoid a letdown with so much at stake when the Virginia Cavaliers come to town this weekend.This matchup in Week 12 of the regular season will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 12 p.m. ET at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. The Wisconsin Badgers can finally get some respect this week. Wisconsin played its first ranked opponent last week when it took on the Iowa Hawkeyes, dismantling Kirk Ferentz’s squad 38-14. The win moved Wisconsin up three spots to No. 5 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings and gives the Badgers a chance to crack the top four with a win this week. The Michigan Wolverines will be the best team they have faced this season.This matchup in Week 12 of the regular season will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 12 p.m. ET at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. Wisconsin got their first real test of the year when they faced the Iowa Hawkeyes and they passed it with flying colors, pulling away to an impressive 38-14 win. The Badgers improved to 10-0 on the year and clinched the Big Ten West in the process. Things don’t get any easier for Wisconsin with a home game on the slate this week against a tough Michigan team.Around the league in Week 11, the Buckeyes crushed Michigan State, 48-3, handing Spartans coach, Mark Dantonio his worst loss of his career.
