The Madden NFL20 simulated season has now gone through six weeks of play with the reenactment of the Monday Night Football clash between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers in the books. The real-time version saw the Packers battle back in the 4th quarter to log the 23-22 home win and non-cover due to some very questionable penalties that aided the Cheeseheads cause. The sim version saw Aaron Rodgers and company pile up the points in an impressive 45-16 beat down that saw it comfortably cover the game sim betting odds with ease to remain the only undefeated team of the simulated season. Week 7 will already have six games in the book after Tuesday as it marches on to crown the victor of this Madden tourney. Week 7 of the 2019 sim season kicked off in the Mile High City where the disappointing Denver Broncos hosted the Kansas City Chiefs. The game sim version played very similarly to the real time results with the former playing to a 33-10 KC win and the latter playing to a 30-6 final in reality. Since getting out to a 1-3 SU start, Patrick Mahomes and company have started to rev the engines in winning two of their last three games to climb up the standings. The only other Week 7 result saw the Atlanta Falcons sneak by the Los Angeles Rams by a 31-29 count to improve its overall record in the sim season to 5-2. However, Atlanta has only scored three more points than its defense has conceded, so it remains to be seen if Matt Ryan and his mates can continue winning with smoke and mirrors at this rate.
The Dallas Cowboys have had some issues through the first six weeks of the sim season. Surprisingly, the offense is the main reason why with it only scoring a total of 118 points. The defense only conceding 97 total points is the main reason why it’s currently a winning team. Speaking of defense! Look no further than the Indianapolis Colts whose 66 points allowed is by far the lowest of the sim league; that’s only 11 points per game people! The unit is without a doubt responsible for the 4-1 start. On the other end of the spectrum, the Tennessee Titans continue to struggle with Mike Vrabel’s squad dropping five of its first six games after getting outscored by the aggregate score of 144-119. It’s still early though, so you might want to buy some Titz futures just to see if Derrick Henry and company have a run in them.
The remainder of Week 7 will play out through Thursday, August 13 with each and every one of those matchups currently on the board to wager upon at Bookmaker.eu. The Week 7 betting lines include Jaguars/Bengals PK, 41, Vikings/Lions +7, 40, Raiders/Packers -9, 46, Texans/Colts +6.5, 44, Cardinals/Giants PK, 41, 49ers/Redskins +3, 38, Chargers/Titans -1, 40, Saints/Bears +4, 43, Ravens/Seahawks -3, 44, Eagles/Cowboys -3, 40 and Patriots/Jets +6.5, 40. Though the Green Bay Packers +800 check in as the only undefeated team remaining in the 2019 sim season tournament, it’s the Dallas Cowboys that remain the +320 favorite to take down another tourney at Prime Time Action Sports. The 4-2 New England Patriots +600 follow them, and then it’s the Saints +1000, Ravens +1000, Vikings +1100, Eagles +1600, 49ers +1700 and Seahawks/Texans +1800. The 5-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers still offer up an attractive +6500 return, while the Bills, Colts and Falcons check in at +4500, +5000 and +8000 respectively. The Patriots +215 are the current frontrunners to win the AFC followed by the Ravens +275, Texans +500, Chiefs +850, Steelers +1200 Bills +1500 and Chargers +2500. The Cowboys +226 remain the team to beat in the NFC followed by the Packers +414, Saints +655, Seahawks/Vikings +807, and Eagles/49ers +1011 and Panthers +1420.
