In the fall of 2018 as United States Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was being considered by the United States Senate, a host of Democrats automatically believed sexual assault accusations against Kavanaugh that popped out of nowhere decades after the alleged incidents took place. There was very little in the way of corroborating evidence. It was the worst form of “he said, she said” and yet the Democrats were ready, willing, and eager to totally destroy Kavanaugh and ruin his life based on “evidence” that was not much in the way of substantive evidence at all.
In particular Democrat female senators such as Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, and Dianne Feinstein were all-in. So too was former Vice President Joe Biden and 2016 presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. Basically, the consensus of the left at that time was that “all women are to be believed.” Oh, really? My, what a difference a year makes.

The USA Elections betting lines have been stagnant for the past couple of weeks as partisans return to the fold of their respective camps. However, a poll that came out last week offers a tell as to where things really stand. Donald Trump outscored Joe Biden as the man best suited to fix the post COVID-19 economy. The President was also seen as better suited to deal with China in the years to come. Much like in 2016 when Americans claimed to approve of President Barrack Obama even as they said the country was on the wrong track is another mixed message. Trump and Biden may be even in most polls but the “who will do a better job” numbers favor Trump.
Me Too!
The 2018 Brett Kavanaugh hearings brought to light the so-called “Me Too” movement which was sold as being about women that were sexually abused by men of power such as business executives and politicians. Many of these executives and Hollywood moguls did have to resign in disgrace. But the “Me Too” movement has become a vehicle for the Democrats to use in trying to destroy Republicans, regardless of actual merit. The Kavanaugh hearings were the best example of that. At least until now.
Biden Candidacy Flips the Coin
Now that Joe Biden is facing much more credible sexual assault allegations from at least eight women with much more credible evidence than what was thrown at Kavanaugh, the same Democrats that screamed for Kavanaugh’s head are defending Biden. Shamelessness has long been an enviable strength of the Democrats that has actually served to help them win battles of the past.
But this is a whole new level of hypocrisy that even some members of the “news” media have been forced to call out.
The basic line of the “Me Too” Democrat senators that were out to ruin Kavanaugh’s life is that “I don’t believe her.” In the case of Harris and Warren its particularly nauseating as they are whoring themselves out to Biden in exchange for the vice-presidential nominee slot on his ticket.
The past week has shown once and for all that “Me Too” means nothing more than “I am for whatever helps the Democrats.”
