U.S. Presidential Election 2024 Betting

The 2024 U.S. Presidential election could be a rematch of the 2020 election that was won by current President Joe Biden. He won a very close race that is still disputed to this day against former President Donald Trump. Biden and Trump are the presumed Democratic and Republican nominees heading into the 2024 election but as we have learned in the past, anything is possible in Politics. Current U.S. Presidential odds slightly favor the Republican Party against the Democratic Party. A lot can change leading up to November of 2024, but as of right now, the Republicans are a slight favorite and Trump is a slight favorite against Biden in individual Presidential odds. There are other candidates who could surprise and end up as either the Democratic or Republican nominee and many of them have longshot odds.

This first option in terms of politics betting is simply on which party will win the 2024 U.S. Presidential election. The Republicans are slightly favored against the Democrats with the Other Party as a big longshot.

2024 U.S. Presidential odds are interesting to look at but realistically there are only a handful of candidates who have a chance. Many of the longshots on this list have no chance at all. Trump is the current favorite with Biden a close second choice. It is not a guarantee that either of them ends up as their party’s nominee. Biden is old and feeble and has to have help putting two sentences together, while Trump is still hated by his enemies and he is facing legal issues.

The darkhorse candidates that would seem to have somewhat of a chance are Michelle Obama, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Gavin Newsom and Kamala Harris. If Biden pulls out of the race due to health, then former first lady Michelle Obama could be a surprise nominee or perhaps the party has to go with Gavin Newsom or Kamala Harris. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is likely to run as an independent party candidate and faces long odds to win the election but at least he is more likable than some of the other longshot choices.

The list of longshots on the board are full of people who have no chance to win the 2024 U.S. Presidential nomination. There are, however, at least a few that are worth looking at. Nikki Haley was the last one to drop out of the Republican primary and if something happens that prevents Donald Trump from running, Haley could be the choice for the Republicans. Ron DeSantis would seem to be in the same spot, but he dropped out before Haley. On the Democratic side, the only big longshot that might have a chance is Hillary Clinton. She has run before and at least has the experience to take the place of Biden on short notice if the Democrats decide Biden is not capable of running.

Most of the other longshots on the board have no appeal at all or they don’t have enough of a following. Vikek Ramaswamy is very intelligent and would be a great President, but he doesn’t yet have the name value and the rest of the people on the list are simply not viable candidates.
