UFC Picks

There does not seem to be much doubt about who is going to win this fight, as Makhachev is about a 7-1 favorite. He is considered the next Khabib Nurmagomedov and that is extremely high praise. We know that Makhachev is good, but we don’t yet know whether he is great. The problem he has had is that no one ones to fight him. Moises is taking a shot and he at least has some skills that give him a minor chance. The best chance for Moises in this fight would seem to be on the mat, but it would take a major mistake for Moises to get an opening. If you look at the stats for this fight you will see that they are eye opening. Makhachev simply doesn’t get hit and he almost never gets taken down. He controls every fight and usually finds a way to finish. Moises is likely going to the mat early and a submission win by Makhachev is likely.

I am definitely not laying 7-1 on anyone, so I will look at two other bets. I think Makhachev could definitely get a submission and we get a juicy price of +350, so I will take that as one bet. I also would be surprised if this fight goes the distance, so I will take the fight under the distance at +110.
