UFC Predictions

Marshman and Phillips have done next to nothing in the UFC and it is somewhat surprising this fight is on the card. Marshman is favored but these two have looked so bad, that the fight really should be a pick. Both Marshman and Phillips need a win, as the loser could shortly be on the way out of the UFC. Both fighters have decent power, but much of their knockout success came before they entered the UFC. This bout could easily turn into a striking battle, and in that case, Marshman might have a little bit of an advantage simply because of his striking defense. I don’t know that his advantage is good enough to make him almost a 2-1 favorite. I think this fight is a toss-up, so I will take the price on Phillips. I will also take the rounds to go under.
