LIV Golf Adelaide Odds and Preview

LIV Golf Adelaide 2026 is the second event of the 2026 LIV Golf League season, taking place from February 12–15, 2026, at The Grange Golf Club in South Australia. This edition marks a significant shift as the tournament expands to a 72-hole, four-round format for the first time.

Adelaide is known as one of the tour's most popular and energetic stops. It's often called the "loudest weekend in golf" for its massive crowds (over 100,000 fans in previous years), festival atmosphere, live music, and unique features such as the famous "Watering Hole" and "Shoey" celebrations. Adelaide is known for boisterous Aussie crowds, premium hospitality, fan zones, and a party vibe beyond traditional golf.

This event marks the fourth year at The Grange, and Adelaide is locked in as LIV Golf's Australian home through at least 2031. A new Greg Norman-designed course is planned for future years.

2026 LIV Golf Adelaide Top Individual Players

Jon Rahm

Jon Rahm is coming off a runner-up finish at the 2026 LIV Golf season opener in Riyadh. Rahm is the former World No. 1 (held the ranking for 52 weeks). He posted 11 PGA Tour wins and 10 DP World Tour wins before joining LIV. Back-to-back LIV Golf Individual Champion (2024 and 2025 seasons).

Rahm joined LIV Golf in late 2023 and has been highly successful there. He's reaffirmed his commitment to the league and has no plans to return to the PGA Tour, despite any pathways.

In the 2026 LIV Golf season opener (Riyadh, the league's first 72-hole event), he finished runner-up to Elvis Smylie (Ripper GC), shooting a final-round 63 to close at -23. This placed him second in the early individual standings (behind Smylie).

His team, Legion XIII (defending team champions from last year), finished T4 in the team competition. Rahm has recently enjoyed a huge OWGR movement. Following Riyadh, he jumped from around No. 93 to No. 67.

David Puig

David Puig is a rising Spanish professional golfer, one of the youngest and most promising talents in the LIV Golf League. He plays for Fireballs GC (captained by Sergio Garcia). He was the first college player to sign with LIV. In 2023, he helped Torque GC (his previous team) win multiple team events. He's currently ranked around 6th in the early 2026 individual standings after a strong T4 finish at LIV Golf Riyadh (the season opener, -20 total). He's ranked No. 87 in OWGR after gaining points from LIV events.

Bryson DeChambeau

DeChambeau is in the final year of his LIV contract but has said negotiations for an extension are "progressing positively," and there's "no doubt" he'll stay if they reach an "alignment point." He has expressed frustration with LIV's shift to 72-hole events in 2026. In the 2026 LIV Golf season opener in Riyadh, he finished T17 at -14, earning 12.5 points, and currently ranks around 19th in the early individual standings. He is now ranked 33rd on the OWGR.

Joaquin Niemann

Joaquín Niemann is widely considered one of the top performers in the LIV. He's the captain of Torque GC and holds the record for the most individual wins in LIV Golf history (7 as of early 2026). Niemann enters 2026 as LIV's winningest player and a prime contender for the Individual Championship.

Niemann is ranked 161st on the OWGR, but his ranking doesn't reflect his skill level (often called one of the world's best). He's been vocal about OWGR "unfairness" in limiting points to the top 10 and not treating LIV equally.

In the 2026 LIV Golf season opener, he finished T22 at -13 and earned 10.18 points. As a result, he is currently ranked around 26th in early individual standings.

2026 LIV Golf Adelaide Bookmaker Best Bets

John Rahm is the justifiable favorite and top pick. He's chasing history (back-to-back individual titles) and finished 2nd in Riyadh (with a hot 63). Consider that he has never finished outside top-10 in completed LIV events.

Main Pick: Jon Rahm

Player Prop Pick: Joaquin Niemann Over the Total Score Total
