Ranked at the bottom of the Top-25, Texas A&M has had the better season, but back-to-back losses to Alabama and Ole Miss have taken their toll. The Aggies, however, rebounded with a win over South Carolina their last time out while Auburn has dropped two straight and four of six.... 

After a commanding 27-3 win over the Bulldogs in the “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party,” the Gators will return home with their elite defense matching up against a Vandy team that hasn’t scored more than 10 points in its last three games.... 

The Ole Miss Rebels are still the fly in the ointment for the College Football Playoff per se, as they still control their destiny in the SEC West.They've got what is expected to be a relatively easy game on Saturday at home against the Arkansas Razorbacks.... 

Ohio State opened the season atop the AP Top-25 and as 14-point favorites for this game according to the Golden Nugget College Football Game of the Year lines. The Buckeyes are still perched atop both the AP Top-25 and Coaches Poll, but the Spartans are ranked No. 6 as both are undefeated at 8-0.... 

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have had a frustrating last couple of weeks, getting blown away by Wisconsin and Ohio State by a combined 80 points. The Michigan Wolverines probably aren't going to make life any easier on them this Saturday.... 

Think there are a few Nebraska Cornhuskers fans out there who want Bo Pelini back? The Huskers are just one more loss away from not going to a bowl game this year, and that loss is almost certain to be on tap against one of the top teams in America, the Michigan State Spartans.... 

Pitt had climbed to No. 23 in last week’s AP poll and was sitting atop the ACC Coastal Division until a loss to North Carolina dropped them from both. Notre Dame continues to find ways to win and will look to avoid any potholes before its regular season finale showdown with No. 9 Stanford. The Panthers have been a tough out for the Irish with the teams splitting the last six games with each being decided by no more than seven points.... 

Clemson has a clear path to the College Football Playoff if it can get past Florida State in a game that likely decides the ACC Atlantic Division title. The Seminoles could have playmakers Everett Golson and Dalvin Cook back in the lineup after the two missed last week’s game, which will boost their chances of an upset. The home team is 8-2 SU over the last 10 meetings, but just 5-5 ATS.... 

Fresno State has just two wins this season and overall, their defense and offense have been atrocious.The team has been outscored by an average of 19.9 points, and will once again have its hands full with the win-hungry Nevada Wolf Pack.... 

By the time they take the field on Friday, the Missouri Tigers will have gone over a month without scoring a touchdown. They'll have to break that hex against the suddenly surging Mississippi State Bulldogs if they want to have a shot at the upset.... 

The Baylor Bears feel like they're on a collision course with TCU for the Big XII title for the second straight season.There are still some potential landmines to avoid though, and a Thursday night trip to Manhattan to take on the Kansas State Wildcats could very well be one of them.... 

The MAC West is a real bloodbath right now, but the MAC East is turning into a runaway.The Bowling Green Falcons can't quite sew up the division title with a win on Wednesday night, but for all intents and purposes, the Ohio Bobcats are the last ones who can run them down.... 

The first College Football Playoff rankings are set to come out on Tuesday night.However, before those rankings even come out, we have opening betting lines to look over in what is sure to be a wacky and wild Week 10.... 

If you don't know who the Toledo Rockets are, you certainly will if you're watching midweek college football these next three weeks. The men from the MAC still think they have a legitimate shot of earning the Group of Five bid to the New Year's Six bowls, but they're going to have to run the table to have any chance whatsoever. They'll state their first case on national television on Tuesday night against the perennial MAC monsters, the Northern Illinois Huskies.... 

It's Halloween time! Before bettors put on their costumes and head out for the night, there will be plenty of opportunities for making some cash on the gridiron. But will the college football docket give you tricks or treats?... 

Week 8 in the Big Ten is in the books. The No. 1 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes steam rolled Rutgers, 49-0. Penn State squeaked by Maryland, 31-30. Michigan State, Wisconsin and Northwestern also added wins. We are past the halfway point of the season and all games become that much more important. Where did the season go, it seems like it just got started.... 

Cal had dreams of a Big Game showdown with Stanford deciding the Pac-12 North, but those dreams have been squashed with consecutive losses to Utah and UCLA. The Trojans, meanwhile, jumped back into the South picture with a resounding beatdown of the Utes last week, knocking Utah from the ranks of the unbeaten. The Golden Bears need a win to get back on track and they’ll have to beat SC for the first time in 12 tries to get there.... 

Ole Miss still controls its destiny in the SEC West with a game against LSU in two weeks and can’t afford to take a breather against an Auburn squad that is scratching and clawing just to qualify for a bowl game. Auburn beat the Rebels in heartbreaking fashion last season and is 5-1 SU and ATS in the last six games between the teams.... 

Michigan looks to bounce back after a stunning loss to Michigan State two weeks ago and continue its quick rebuild under Jim Harbaugh. Minnesota is dealing with the emotional retirement of its coach and faces the Big Ten gauntlet down the stretch.The outlook is good for the Wolverines to reclaim the Little Brown Jug. They haven’t lost in Minneapolis since 1977.... 

The matchup between Georgia and Florida could be called the unofficial SEC East championship game because the winner will have the inside track to capturing the division title. The Gators lost on the road to an unbeaten LSU team by a slim margin, proving they are the team to beat in the East. In their first game without Nick Chubb, the Bulldogs failed to score a touchdown. They did beat Missouri, though, and are just a game behind Florida in the standings.... 

The Longhorns lost four of their first five games, but have now taken two straight and look to extend that to three against Iowa State. Texas has, however, yet to win a game on the road.... 

My, how the mighty have fallen. In a span of just seven days, the Texas A&M Aggies went from a Top 10 team to one with no shot whatsoever to either win the SEC West or reach the College Football Playoff with successive losses to Alabama and Ole Miss. The Aggies should get back on track this week though against one of the weaklings of the SEC East, the South Carolina Gamecocks.... 

Sitting at a perfect 7-0 for the first time in program history, the Temple Owls will have the eyes of the college football world staring directly at them when they host No. 9 Notre Dame on Saturday. Temple is ranked for the first time since 1979 and most of the players on the team weren’t even born the last time the Owls played a game of this magnitude. It’ll be business as usual for the Irish coming off a bye week owning a 6-1 SU and ATS record.... 

For the first time in three years, No. 17 Florida State enters a regular season game off a loss. Last week’s last-second 22-16 loss at Georgia Tech on a blocked field goal and 78-yard return sent shockwaves through college football again. Syracuse has lost four-straight following three wins to start the season, including last week’s last-second 23-20 loss to Pittsburgh.... 

The No. 11 Florida Gators are a 3-point favorite over the Georgia Bulldogs with a total of 48 in their annual rivalry game in Jacksonville, FL.The Gators are on top of the SEC East at 4-1 while Georgia is solo second at 3-2 and both teams enter off a bye week....
