College Football Week 2 Parlay Picks

College Football Week 2 Parlay Picks

Are you ready for some Week 2 college football parlay winners? College Football Week 2 parlay picks will feature a number of marquee teams but also include some teams a bit off the radar. Week 1 was exciting in terms of the college football action, but only one of the parlays came through. This week we’ll change things up a bit and go with three different parlays. We’ll go with a marquee parlay that we’ll call Lay the Wood that features big time teams, a longshot parlay that features three teams with a realistic chance to pull the upset and we’ll try something new and put together a parlay using ESPN’s FPI power rankings.

CFB Week 2 Parlay Picks

Let’s look at college football Week 2 Parlay Picks.

Lay the Wood Parlay

Ohio State -43.5, Oklahoma -32, Michigan -50.5

Payout: $100 to win $584

This should be a popular parlay with many bettors, as we are taking three power teams against three terrible teams. Ohio State did not look that impressive last week, but that gives us more value this week. The Ohio State defense did look good and Arkansas State may not score at all. Oklahoma was very impressive on offense last week and they figure to put up a ton of points this week against Kent State. Michigan is laying a huge number of points but Hawaii already looks like one of the worst teams in college football and the Wolverines should pile it on at home.

Longshot Parlay

Virginia +160, Duke +274, Vanderbilt +260

Payout: $20 to win $680

We hit half of the big parlay last week but couldn’t hit on the other half for the big payout. This time around we’ll go with a three-teamer that would payout nicely if it comes in. Virginia is normally a very good road dog and they are taking on an Illinois team that is nothing special. Virginia can get the road win in this one to start off the parlay. Duke is taking on Northwestern and these games are normally close and high scoring. We’ll hope Duke is able to get the last score and pull out the win. The last leg of the parlay is definitely a risky one, but Vandy looked good last week and Wake Forest is still playing with a backup quarterback. If Vanderbilt is ever going to get a huge win, then it could be this week, as Wake Forest is a ranked team.

ESPN FPI Parlay

Tennessee -6.5, Baylor +3.5, Mississippi State -11

Payout: $100 to win $584

We’ll try something new this week and go with the ESPN FPI rankings and put together a parlay. What we are looking to do here is find teams that are highly ranked by FPI who are not getting enough respect from the oddsmakers.

Tennessee is getting a lot of love from the FPI, as they ranked No. 10. The Volunteers are laying points on the road against a Pittsburgh team that just slipped by West Virginia last week. This is a good test for the FPI, as laying points on the road is never easy, but the Volunteers were very impressive last week in a win over Ball State.

Baylor is ranked No. 8 in the latest ESPN FPI rankings. BYU is ranked well outside of the Top 20 and yet Baylor is getting 3.5 points in this contest. BYU’s home field advantage is good, but not great and it looks like the Bears have the better team this season. We’ll go with Baylor plus the points in the parlay.

The last leg of the parlay has Mississippi State laying double-digits on the road at Arizona. The FPI really likes the Bulldogs, as they No. 13 in the latest rankings. Arizona is coming off a good road win last week against San Diego State but the FPI was not impressed. We’ll lay the points and take the Bulldogs.
