NBA Basketball Odds - Toronto Raptors at Golden State Warriors NBA Finals Game 4 Preview

NBA Basketball Odds

The Toronto Raptors took advantage of a depleted Golden State Warriors team in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, capturing the road win to go ahead in the series once again. If Toronto can pull out another victory in Game 4 in Oakland, the Warriors’ chance at a three-peat will be on the ropes.

Golden State will certainly give its all in this one and a victory would have it feeling much better. Injury updates should help push the spread around in the next 48 hours but for now the Warriors are the favorite to win this one and knot things up at two games apiece.

The stakes don’t get much bigger than this and Golden State knows it is in nearly a must-win scenario in NBA gambling.

Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors will be held at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California at 9 p.m. ET on Friday, June 7th, 2019. The game will be nationally televised on ABC.

Odds Analysis

The Warriors are listed as 5.5-point favorites to win Game 4 and tie this series up. Golden State is coming in as the -230 favorite on the moneyline while the Raptors are the +192 underdogs. The scoring total is listed at 216 points after the “over” easily hit last time out.

The Raptors are now the slight favorites to win the series at -115. The Warriors are listed at -105. It is the first time in the NBA Finals that Toronto is the pick to win in NBA betting lines.

Last Time Out

The Raptors took control early on and weren’t really threatened as they claimed the 123-109 victory. Kawhi Leonard had 30 points, seven rebounds and six assists while Kyle Lowry added 23 points and nine assists. It was a total team effort as every Toronto starter scored in double figures while Fred VanVleet and Serge Ibaka logged some nice minutes off the bench.

Steph Curry did all he could for the Warriors, finishing with 47 points, eight rebounds and seven assists but he did not get enough help. Draymond Green had 17 points and Andre Iguodala 11, but no other Warriors player scored in double figures. Golden State was severely hampered by the absence of superstar scorers Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson, making Curry carry too much of the load.

Injury Report

Thompson was a game-time decision after injuring his hamstring in Game 2 and the team chose to play it safe and keep him on the bench. He will undoubtedly want to be on the floor Friday, and the hope is that a couple more days of rest will allow him that opportunity.

Durant is still dealing with a calf strain but is ramping up his activity. The Warriors will feel better if they can get at least one of these two stars back, and both returning would be huge. The status of Thompson and Durant will play a pivotal role in all of the odds for this Game 4 showdown.

Free NBA ATS Picks

The Raptors did what they needed to do in Game 3 but need to show that same urgency next time out because a win by Golden State would put the Warriors back in the driver’s seat. Golden State is really hoping Thompson or Durant gets back, and it seems likely at least one of them will be on the floor.

There is too much on the line for the Warriors to lose Game 4, although the margin should be razor thin, which will allow Toronto to cover in NBA wagering.

NBA ATS Pick: Golden State Warriors 109, Toronto Raptors 106
