NBA Basketball Odds - Golden State Warriors at Toronto Raptors NBA Finals Game 5 Preview

NBA Basketball Odds

The Toronto Raptors are one step away from the improbable, as they head home for Game 5 on the precipice of a championship against the mighty Golden State Warriors. Injuries have dominated the discussion in this series and that won’t change on Monday as Golden State is hoping to have superstar forward Kevin Durant back in the fold.

The Raptors have looked excellent all series long and only need 48 more minutes of quality basketball to hoist the championship trophy. The oddsmakers have made the Raptors the slight favorites to win Game 5 and claim the title, but the Warriors certainly won’t go quietly in NBA gambling.

Game 5 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors will be held at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at 9 p.m. ET on Monday, June 10th, 2019. The game will be nationally televised on ABC.

We'll have NBA basketball odds at BookMaker.eu available for every game of the 2019 NBA season.

Odds Analysis

The Raptors are listed as three-point favorites at home. They are -155 on the moneyline while Golden State is the +135 underdog. The scoring total has been listed at 211.5 points as the oddsmakers believe a slowdown pace is coming.

The Raptors were the underdogs in Games 3 and 4 but were able to come away with the victory, rewarding the faith of bettors who backed them in NBA gambling.

Last Time Out

The Raptors trailed at the half of Game 4 but Kawhi Leonard and his teammates were sensational in the second half as Toronto cruised to the 105-92 victory. Leonard finished the contest with 36 points, 12 rebounds and four steals. He shot 11-of-22 from the floor and 5-of-9 from three-point range. Leonard should be the shoo-in to win NBA Finals MVP provided the Raptors win the title. Serge Ibaka was a huge help off the bench for the Raptors, scoring 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting in 22 minutes of action.

Klay Thompson returned from injury in this one and finished with 28 points on 11-of-18 from the floor and 6-of-10 from three-point range. Steph Curry added 27 points but the Warriors did not get enough offensive help from the other players on the team.

Injury Report

The Warriors seem to need Durant back to have a shot at rallying for the title. He has been out since the second round with a calf strain but seems close to a return to the court. Thompson, Kevon Looney and DeMarcus Cousins are all playing again for Golden State but the team has not been able to adequately match up with the Raptors without Durant in the fold.

Keep a close eye on his status for this one. Durant would love to help the Warriors storm back in this series but it remains to be seen if his calf will cooperate. His availability is going to have an impact on the spread whenever there is definitive word.

Free NBA ATS Picks

The Raptors have looked like the superior team throughout the NBA Finals and now get this game at home. If Durant doesn’t play, Toronto should be able to hoist the championship banner. However, the belief here is that the Warriors will get their star back and he will help keep the series alive. The Warriors are the pick on the moneyline to upset the Raptors in NBA gambling.

The “under” is the pick on the scoring total as this is going to be a slower-paced game with so much on the line.

NBA ATS Pick: Golden State Warriors 104, Toronto Raptors 102
