ODDS ANALYSISThe Tigers haven’t completely recovered from a disastrous eight-game losing streak but they’re trying. Detroit is 6-4 in 10 games since that slide, up 2.29 units on the moneyline, and things are starting to look up with Justin Verlander back in the rotation and Victor Martinez about to join the lineup.Despite going 4-8 in their last 12 road games the Tigers still have a winning record at 16-14 in the black 2.6 units.... 

ODDS ANALYSISThe Astros own the best record in the American League and have for much of the season. They can look at their games with the Mariners as part of the reason.Houston won eight of the first 10 meetings with Seattle this year and won two of three games last week in Houston with their victories coming by a combined 23-0 score. Houston took two of three in its first visit to Seattle in April and is up 6.99 units on the moneyline in the season series.... 

The Minnesota Twins (35-30, $1157) were the talk of baseball for a while as they worked their way to the top of the AL Central. The magic has since worn off as they have slid back a bit, but they’re still way above the Chicago White Sox (28-36, -$953) in the standings and will look to widen that gap even more as they kick off a series against them Monday night.... 

The last time the Los Angeles Dodgers (37-29 SU, -4.28 Units) and the San Francisco Giants (35-32 SU, -0.55 Units) squared off, the Dodgers were shut out in all three games which they played and were outscored 10-0. LA will be seeking some minor revenge on Sunday Night Baseball this weekend.... 

The Washington Nationals (34-32, -$471) continue to flounder, costing bettors money as they continually play below their talent level. This weekend, they will host a team in a much different situation as the Pittsburgh Pirates (38-27, $641) are surging, making up for their early season woes.... 

It has been a rocky season for the Detroit Tigers (34-32, -$91) who head to New York to take on the Yankees (35-30, $184) this weekend with the final game coming Sunday afternoon.... 

ODDS ANALYSISThe Rangers continue to make bettors money taking the first three games of a home-and-home series with the NL West leading Los Angeles Dodgers. The surprising Rangers are just 2.5 games behind the first place Astros in the AL West following their 5-3 win Wednesday in Dodger Stadium and are up 17.84 units on the moneyline this season.... 

ODDS ANALYSISMets’ bettors should be careful when the team is on the road because they have struggled mightily away from Citi Field. It’s hard to imagine a division leader being 10 games under .500 on the road but that’s where the Mets are after dropping Wednesday’s game 8-0 at Toronto, falling to 10-20 in the red 9.25 units on the moneyline.... 

The New York Yankees (34-30 SU, +0.84 Units) are back in the Bronx, and they're hoping to snap a skid of five out of six games.They've got a tough task on tap against the Detroit Tigers (34-31 SU, +0.14 Units) in Friday’s series opener.... 

With the Red Sox toiling at the bottom of the AL East standings, the best rivalry in baseball may be over on the west coast where the Los Angeles Dodgers (37-28, -$153) and San Francisco Giants (35-31, $45) sit atop the NL West.The two teams will kick off another instalment of the rivalry on Friday with the first of three.... 

The Milwaukee Brewers (24-42 SU, -16.84 Units) have had a rough go of it all season long, and the first two games of their four-game home-and-home series with the Kansas City Royals (36-25 SU, +9.42 Units) didn't go well.Now that the series is shifting back to Kauffman Stadium, the task of finding wins is going to be even tougher to overcome.... 

ODDS ANALYSISSay it isn’t so. The organization every team hates but wants to be like (can you say New England Patriots) is facing its own scandal.Call it Astrogate or some other catchy media friendly tag, but whatever it ends up being called, and however it turns out, the Cardinals squeaky clean image took a hit as they undergo a federal investigation.... 

ODDS ANALYSISThe Brewers are ecstatic about leaving Miller Park. Milwaukee dropped both games of their interleague series with the Royals there, losing 7-2 on Tuesday for their fourth straight home loss and 11th in the last 14 games.The Brewers actually had a winning trip the last time they hit the road, going 5-4 with stops in St. Louis, Minnesota and Pittsburgh, finishing up 2.15 units. Overall the Brewers are 13-18 on the road in the red 1.76 units.... 

The struggling Colorado Rockies (28-35 SU, -3.33 Units) will look to claw out of a hole on Thursday afternoon when they finish a four-game home-and-home series with the Houston Astros (37-28 SU, +7.20 Units).... 

While controversy surrounds the Kansas City Royals (35-25, $842) who lead nearly every position in All-Star balloting, the team continues to win, ranking first in the American League.Their opponents on Thursday, however, aren’t nearly as successful as the Brew Crew (24-41, -$1584) sports the second worst record in baseball.... 

A surging Baltimore Orioles (32-31, $105) club will look to take advantage of their final game against the lowly Philadelphia Phillies (22-43, -$1741) as they continue to climb their way up the standings.... 

PITCHING MATCHUPJordan Zimmerman has been tough to hit over the course of his whole career, but this year, things just haven't done his way. Batters are hitting .289 against him, and lefties are especially knocking him around to the tune of a .329 average.... 

ODDS ANALYSISThe Tampa Bay Rays took over sole possession of first place in the AL East with their 6-1 home win Monday over the Nationals and the series shifts to our nation’s capital for the first of two games in Nationals Park.
Tampa Bay is a steady road play going 18-13 in away games up 6.13 units on the moneyline. The Rays are 7-3 in their last 10 road games up 4.44 units with the under at 6-3-1 in that span and 21-9-1 overall.... 

The Los Angeles Dodgers (37-26, $116) get to head home on Wednesday and host the Texas Rangers (33-30, $1287) after the two teams spent a couple days deep in the heart of Texas.... 

The Tampa Bay Rays (35-29, $495) and Washington Nationals (33-30, -$345) are set for a four game series split between stadiums.The series heads to the Nation’s Capital on Wednesday for the third game.... 

ODDS ANALYSISAfter knocking the Houston Astros from the top spot in the American League last week with a three-game sweep, the White Sox were feeling good, perhaps turning a corner to becoming the contending team many thought. Getting swept in Tampa Bay over the weekend was a blow to those hopes. Playing on the road is something the Sox haven’t been very good at this season, going 12-21 down 8.08 units following their sweep.... 

ODDS ANALYSISThe Diamondbacks conclude their trip through California taking on the Angels. The Dbacks began their swing by getting swept in the southern part of the state by the Dodgers before travelling to the Bay Area and sweeping the Giants tossing a pair of shutouts at them splitting the first six games playing each as the underdog. Arizona is consistent this season going 15-16 both at home and on the road after beating the Giants on Sunday, cashing the under in three straight and four of five.... 

ODDS ANALYSISThings are not going well for the Red Sox as they continue to tumble in the AL East standings, holding down last place after getting swept at home by the Blue Jays over the weekend. And it was ugly. The Sox blew an 8-1 lead and lost 13-10 in Friday’s game and gave up 13 again in Sunday’s loss. Boston finished the week winless and is down 16.62 units on the moneyline for the year and 7.63 units at home.... 

After their game got postponed on Sunday, the St. Louis Cardinals ( 41-21, $1785 ) will look to get their season going again, putting their Major League best record up against the surprising, but sliding Minnesota Twins ( 34-28, $1230 ).... 

The Boston Red Sox (27-37, -$1662) are desperate to get their season turned around and will get another chance against the Atlanta Braves (30-33, $125). The second game of a four game split home-away series is slated for Tuesday....
