The Detroit Tigers (28-26 SU, -1.20 Units) are lugging around a seven-game losing streak heading into their weekend series with the Chicago White Sox (24-27 SU, -4.09 Units). They'll hope that their skid will be over by the time Sunday's series finale comes around.... 

The St. Louis Cardinals (35-18, $1,481 ) have kicked the Los Angeles Dodgers (31-22, $59) out of the NL playoffs the last few years, the Dodgers will look for revenge as they host them in a four game weekend set in what may be yet another playoff preview with each team sitting atop their respective division.... 

The New York Yankees (29-25 SU, +1.65 Units) have had a history of whipping up on the Los Angeles Angels (28-26 SU, -1.14 Units), having won 22 of the last 30 games between these two in the Big Apple and eight of the last 11 overall.... 

The Pittsburgh Pirates (29-24, $154) are rolling and have elevated themselves to one of the league’s best teams as they head to Atlanta to take on the Braves (26-27, $297) with the middle game slated for Saturday....

ODDS ANALYSISThe Pittsburgh Pirates are the hottest team in baseball following a three-game sweep of the Giants gave them 11 wins in their last 13 games. The Pirates have been good at home, but the last seven games of their successful streak have taken place on the road where they are 5-2 over their last seven in the black 3.16 units on the moneyline. The Bucs improved to 14-15 overall in away games and are still in the red 1.22 units. They continue their road swing with a weekend set in Atlanta after going 4-0-3 on the over in their last seven.... 

ODDS ANALYSISBaltimore has not been a good bet on the road and that trend continued Wednesday when the Orioles dropped their third straight in Houston to the Astros. The 3-1 loss left the O’s at 6-16 in away games this season and dropped them into last place in the AL East, a season-high six games below .500. It was also their fifth straight loss on the road, putting them in the red 5.11 units in that span. The O’s are down 9.5 units overall in away games, leaving them as the least profitable road team in the AL.... 

ODDS ANALYSISThe Giants were ready to overtake the Dodgers for the top spot in the NL West but a five-game losing streak has them on their heels as they begin a six-game road trip. SF was swept at home by Pittsburgh, dropping the series finale 5-2 on Wednesday completing its homestand at 2-5 finishing down 4.48 units. San Francisco welcomes a road trip after its failures at home. The Giants have been better away from ATT Park, going 14-11 in the black 4.3 units and are 8-2 in their last 10 road contests.... 

ODDS ANALYSISWith all the exciting, young talent the Cubs have there can, and will, be growing pains as the group learns to play at the big league level.
The Cubs have scored more than three runs just four times in their last 14 games going 6-8 on the moneyline in that span and cashing the under 10 times.The pitching has been better than expected and the under is 5-2-3 in Jake Arrieta’s 10 starts this season. Be careful when wagering the runline with the Cubs as they’ve been a disaster. The Cubs are 20-30 through their first 50 games in the red 10.03 units.... 

ODDS ANALYSISThe Cardinals and Dodgers renew acquaintances, meeting for the second time in less than a week with a four-game set at Dodger Stadium.The team’s played four games in LA last season with the Dodgers taking three....

Houston took the first two of the series, overcoming a four-run deficit for a 6-4 win Tuesday.... 

ODDS ANALYSISWith a little help from the Tigers, Oakland captured the series opener on Tuesday scoring five times in the seventh inning to erase a 3-0 deficit in a 5-3 win.
The teams are meeting for the second time in a week with Oakland’s win on Tuesday giving each team a pair of wins through the first four games of the season series.... 

After splitting a doubleheader on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers (31-21 SU, +1.81 Units) and the Colorado Rockies (23-28 SU, -1.98 Units) will be back at it on Wednesday night in what could be a long game for the two starting pitchers.... 

The Chicago Cubs (27-22, $202) have been building towards being considered amongst the top echelon of teams and will get a chance to showcase themselves against the preseason favorite in the National League, the Washington Nationals (28-22, $79) this weekend, beginning with the first of four on Thursday.... 

ODDS ANALYSISAfter having Monday’s game rained out, the Twins and Red Sox will play the second of a day-night doubleheader on Wednesday.
The Red Sox were swept by the Twins last week in Minneapolis, part of a 1-6 road trip that has the Sox searching for answers.... 

ODDS ANALYSISAll it took for the Dodgers to break out of their funk was a trip to Coors Field. LA pounded out 18 hits in the series opener scoring as many runs in one inning as they did in their previous six road games combined. The Dodgers scored six times in the sixth inning of their 11-4 win, the same number of times they crossed the plate in their last six away games in which they went 1-5 with four shutouts.... 

ODDS ANALYSISThe Cardinals are the most profitable team in the National League and have cleaned up at home, owning the best record through 26 games in franchise history. St. Louis is up 11.85 units while going 20-6 at Busch Stadium after taking two of three games from the NL West Division leading Dodgers over the weekend. Overall the Cards are in the black 14.17 units. The Brewers are at the opposite end of the pay scale, down 3.91 units on the road and 16.78 units overall on the moneyline.... 

The Los Angeles Dodgers’ ( 29-20, $81 ) lead in the NL West has shrunk, but Wednesday night is still a battle of the top versus the bottom in the division as Adrian Gonzalez and the Dodgers head to the Mile High city to take on the Colorado Rockies ( 22-26, -$98 ).... 

ODDS ANALYSISThe New York Yankees have trouble winning on the road and it’s been a difficult task for the Mariners to get victories on their own field. Something has to give when these two meet in the middle of a three-game set.... 

ODDS ANALYSISThe Los Angeles Dodgers are struggling to score runs on the road and a trip to hitter-friendly Coors Field might be exactly what they need to break out. LA suffered its fourth straight road shutout, dropping the first of a three-game set 3-0 at St. Louis over the weekend. The Dodgers ended a franchise record 42 straight scoreless road innings stretch with a 5-1 win Saturday before tallying just once in Sunday’s loss playing below the scoreline for the sixth straight road game, fourth straight overall, with the under going 10-3 in LA’s last 13 games.... 

The Boston Red Sox (21-26 SU, -9.57 Units) have failed to score in the first inning of nine straight and 13 out of 14 games.That's just one of the reasons that it might be beneficial to bet against them early on in live betting against the Texas Rangers (23-24 SU, +7.14 Units) on Saturday.... 

Michael Wacha has been one of the very best pitchers in all of baseball this season.For live betting purposes though, we have reason to believe that he and his St. Louis Cardinals (31-16 SU, +13.48 Units) might actually be worth fading against the Los Angeles Dodgers (28-18 SU, +1.60 Units).... 

The road warriors known as the Detroit Tigers (28-20 SU, +5.46 Units) will continue their West Coast road trip on Sunday against the Los Angeles Angels (23-24 SU, -4.18 Units) seeking to potentially get above the .667 mark for the season away from home.... 

The Milwaukee Brewers (16-32 SU, -15.36 Units) have already been beaten four times in six games this season by the St. Louis Cardinals (31-16 SU, +13.48 Units).It'll be a huge uphill battle to try to break that hex on Monday in the first game of a three-game set at Busch Stadium.... 

ODDS ANALYSISInterestingly the last opponent for both teams before the series started was the Baltimore Orioles. The Sox split a makeup doubleheader Thursday while Houston lost the rubber game of a three-game set Wednesday. You might remember 10 seasons ago Chicago swept Houston to win its first World Series title in 88 years....
