Odds Analysis

The odds have yet to be released, but check back soon to see how the teams stack up according to the oddsmakers’ projections. Florida has to be among the favorites after last year’s title and a 47-19 regular season.

Florida has made it to four straight College World Series, which is no small feat even considering how unpredictable the game of baseball can be. The Gators would love to become back-to-back champs but there is a tough field of contenders aiming to knock them off.

Oregon State figures to be among the main contenders and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see these two teams face off in the championship game since they are on the opposite sides of the CWS bracket. However, it’s more likely than not that one of the teams gets knocked off early by one of the other three teams.

Arkansas and North Carolina are the next highest seeds and they hope to make it to the College World Series finals. The two teams that advance from their sides of the bracket then face off in a three-game series to decide the national championship.

Oregon State was the favorite a year ago but fell short when it got to the College World Series. That won’t be the case this time around. The Beavers only have one other national seed on their side of the bracket and should be able to take control of the bracket as long as they knock off North Carolina in the opener.

Florida might have the most talented team in the field but a repeat championship is not going to happen. Arkansas is the pick to make the final series where it will lose to Oregon State. Take the Beavers to claim the College World Series title in NCAA baseball gambling.
