Premier League Betting Odds at BookMaker.eu

Five of the six big Premier League clubs won their season openers last week, with the two Manchester clubs scoring the biggest victories. Manchester City ended up hammering a decent West Ham United squad 5-0 and are top of the table, while Manchester United are right behind them after a 4-0 thumping of Chelsea at Old Trafford. Both Manchester teams will face tough tests this week though with City hosting Tottenham Hotspur and United traveling to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Southampton FC +659
Liverpool FC -256
Draw +403
Over/Under 3

There will be a lot of familiarity when Southampton and Liverpool square off on Saturday. The Reds bought six players from the Saints between 2014 and 2017, spending over £160 million pounds in the process, and three of those players have made a huge impact for Liverpool. Dejan Lovren is a hard-nosed defender, Sadio Mane is a goal-scoring wonder, and Virgil Van Dijk was named Player of the Year last season.

We saw that pipeline work the other way with Danny Ings joining Southampton after a loan over the summer, but Ings will have a hard time scoring on his old club.

Manchester City -277
Tottenham Hotspur +680
Draw +432
Over/Under 3 and 3.5

This is the match of the week. Manchester City are looking as strong as ever, while Tottenham Hotspur will be short-handed as Son Heung-min serves the last game of his suspension and Dele Alli has been ruled out due to a thigh injury. For Spurs to get a win in the Etihad, Harry Kane will have to come up with some magic.

Arsenal FC -312
Burnley FC +823
Draw +444
Over/Under 3

The Clarets are off to a smashing start after an Ashley Barnes second half double spurred a 3-0 win over Southampton in their opener. Starting off with a win is huge for Burnley as they are heavy underdogs against Arsenal, Wolves, and Liverpool the next three weeks. The Gunners should pick up the win here.

Everton FC -138
Watford FC +369
Draw +293
Over/Under 2.5 and 3

Everton were made to settle for a draw against Crystal Palace in their opener, and to make matters worse, the Toffees won’t have Morgan Schneiderlin for this match after the midfielder picked up a red card last week. However, the oddsmakers are down on Watford after a stunning 3-0 loss to lowly Brighton and Hove Albion last season.

Brighton & Hove Albion +150
West Ham United +190
Draw +228
Over/Under 2.5

The Hammers can’t afford another rough start to the season. We saw West Ham get off to a brutal start last campaign, and it took the club a while to get out of the cellar. They need to bounce back after a discouraging loss to Manchester City in the opener. Fortunately, this is a very winnable game even though West Ham are on the road.

Best Tipsters

Aston Villa +137
AFC Bournemouth +196
Draw +246
Over/Under 2.5

In their opener, the Cherries weren’t as dangerous as we figured. The attack was unable to have a lot of success against Sheffield United, and the Blades were able to grab a draw after some shoddy defending late led to a goal. I believe they’ll do better against Villa in a game that goes over the total.

Norwich City +119
Newcastle United +239
Draw +235
Over/Under 2.5

The Canaries are looking for their first points this season. Norwich’s Teemo Pukki showed that he can score at the top flight in the opener, and he will look to lead his club to points against a Newcastle United squad that were very disappointing last week.

August 18

Chelsea FC -125
Leicester City +358
Draw +261
Over/Under 2.5

Things could go from bad to worse at Stamford Bridge quickly for Frank Lampard. Chelsea were smashed last week, and Leicester are a dangerous side. The Blues have a midweek match against Liverpool on Wednesday, and the club doesn’t have the depth it did in the past to juggle their starting eleven effectively.

Sheffield United +158
Crystal Palace +195
Draw +210
Over/Under 2

Could the Blades get off to a dream start in their return to the Premier League? This was the team that everyone expected to get relegated, but Sheffield showed heart in their opener. Palace are hoping to smooth over the locker room situation after the Wilfried Zaha transfer rumors have dominated the last couple weeks, and they are prime to be picked off.

August 19

Wolverhampton Wanderers +224
Manchester United +125
Draw +226
Over/Under 2 and 2.5

This line is a big surprise considering Wolves’ record against Big Six clubs last year. As impressive as Manchester United were against Chelsea, Wolves counter brilliantly, and it will be hard for the Red Devils to have the same success. I think the hosts will pick up another result against a top team.
