Cris Cyborg said this to mmanews.com about the upcoming fight between Holm and Bueno Silva, “I believe Holly Holm has a lot of experience and I know she (Silva) has been training with Judo Kayla (Harrison) but I don't know if she's a great partner to prepare for this fight because it's different you know I think with Holly she moves around a lot, side-to-side, a lot of experience in boxing but I'm excited for the fight but I believe Holly Holm is going to win by decision if she keeps moving around and keeping the distance and trying to get the takedowns.”

UFC Picks

I am surprised that Holm is still around and winning fights, but that just shows that the bantamweight division just isn’t that good. Bueno Silva is the newest contender but at 5-2-1 in the UFC, her resume isn’t spectacular. Holm is still good enough to compete with anyone in the bantamweight division and with no current champion, Holm could be in line for another title shot if she wins this fight. Normally I look to go against Holm if she is fighting a top fighter, but I don’t know if Bueno Silva fits the bill. UFC oddsmakers sure don’t think so, as Holm is listed as almost a 2-1 favorite to win this fight. I am not laying money on Holm and I am not confident enough in Bueno Silva to take her. I don’t know that either of these fighters has great finishing ability so I will go over the rounds total as the UFC bet for this fight.
