UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw Betting

Aspen Ladd (9-1, 4-1 UFC)

Ladd came into the UFC with a record of 5-0 and she has four wins and one loss in the UFC. She defeated Lina Länsberg by TKO, Tonya Evinger by TKO, Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision, and Yana Kunitskaya by TKO; while losing to Germaine de Randamie by TKO. Ladd has been a pro since 2015 and she has six wins by TKO/KO and one by submission. She has two first round finishes.

Ladd has lost just once in her career and probably deserves more attention but she realizes what the UFC is. “That’s the state of the UFC,” Ladd said to the media, “Anybody who is willing to talk a little bit of s—t and really be that person gets more attention. It’s just a matter of if you want to do that. If you want to venture into that realm. It’s not me, man.”

Macy Chiasson (7-1, 5-1 UFC)

Chiasson came into the UFC with a record of 2-0 and she has five wins and one loss in the UFC. She defeated Pannie Kianzad by rear-naked choke submission, Gina Mazany by TKO, Sarah Moras by TKO, Shanna Young by unanimous decision, and Marion Reneau by unanimous decision; while losing to Lina Länsberg by unanimous decision. Chiasson has been a pro since 2017 and she has two wins by TKO/KO and two by submission. She has one first round finish.

UFC Picks

Ladd hasn’t fought in over a year since suffering a serious knee injury, but all indications are that she is raring to go for this fight. Each fighter has suffered just one loss in their career, but I am not impressed at all with the list of fighters that Chiasson has beaten. Both fighters faced Lina Lansberg and Ladd took her out, winning by TKO, while Chiasson lost by unanimous decision. I look at the stats for each of them and I think all of the edges are with Ladd in this fight. She lands more strikes, is more accurate and is tougher. Ladd also has a huge edge on the ground. I just can’t see a scenario where Chiasson gets the win unless Ladd is simply not ready to fight coming off a layoff. I don’t think that will be the case, so I will lay the price and take Ladd to get the win. I think you can also make a case for Ladd getting the finish in this fight, as seven of her nine wins have been finishes. I will also play the rounds in this fight to go under the total.
