UFC Predictions

Perez was supposed to be fighting Jack Marshman, but Marshman withdrew and Turman picked up the fight. Perez looked good in his last win against Anthony Hernandez and he is 2-2 in the UFC. Turman has had only one UFC fight, but he showed himself well in a split decision loss to Karl Roberson. This fight is a contrast in styles, as Perez will want to keep it standing, while Turman will look to take the fight to the mat. The oddsmakers have this fight as a toss-up and I agree, so I will avoid picking a side and look at the rounds total. Neither of these two fighters has shown a great ability to get quick finishes, so unless Turman finds a way to get a submission this one should go the distance. I will take the rounds to go over the total and also hedge a bit and take Turman to win by submission.
