Diakiese said this to express.co.uk. about his upcoming fight against Haqparast, “This is my first fight of the year and I’ve used my time off to focus on myself. I have focused on what needs to improve and I have done that. I am going to take my time and play to my strengths. But now I think I am the better striker. Eight knockouts makes him very dangerous because he is finishing fights. Coming up against me is going to be his biggest challenge. His first fight in the UFC seemed very comfortable. When we trained together I was the wrestler and he was the striker. I’m going to put on a performance and I want to get the finish and get the win.”
