Two of the best teams in the NFL will be competing in Super Bowl 50 as the top-seeded teams from both the AFC and NFC are matched up in the Conference Championship games.... 

It's interesting to think that all four road teams won in the opening round of the playoffs, but there's a big difference between being able to go on the road to beat relatively weak division winners and having to do it a second straight week against better teams who are coming off of byes. That could setup a lot of favorable spots for player props on Saturday and Sunday.... 

According to Aaron Rodgers, the Packers got their mojo back in last week’s 35-18 wild card win over Washington. They’ll need plenty more of it in a rematch with Cardinals, who smacked Green Bay by 30 points just over two weeks ago.... 

The New England Patriots are hopeful a first-round bye gives them enough time to cure their ills. The defending champs have lost four of their last six games and face the streaking Chiefs in the Divisional Round.One more defeat, and that‘s the end of the Pats quest to be the first back-to-back champions since they did it in 2003-04.... 

You only have to go back a few weeks to find the last time the Arizona Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers matched up against one another. The Cards got the best of the Pack 38-8 in a game which really wasn't that close, but live bettors should expect this to be a much different game this time around with a spot in the NFC Championship Game on the line.... 

When the Carolina Panthers beat the Seattle Seahawks back on October 18, it was the launching point for one of the best regular seasons in NFL history. It also had the potential to be the beginning of a disaster for the two-time defending NFC champs. Instead, Seattle has really turned on the jets, and it now has the ability to exorcize the demons of blowing a two-score lead in the final four minutes to a team which it theoretically should've beaten....

The Pittsburgh Steelers might very well be fortunate to be in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, but if they can't get their banged up offensive stars back on the field, they're going to get run off the field at Mile High on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.... 

A rematch of last season's divisional round playoff game was set up when the Seahawks received a gift from the Vikings. A missed field goal in the waning seconds on Sunday allowed Seattle to make another cross-country trip, this time to the No. 1 seed Panthers, who have won 11 straight at home and knocked off the Seahawks on the road earlier this season.... 

It might be the last playoff run for Peyton Manning, who will start for the top-seeded Broncos on Sunday.After a brutal Wild Card game, does Pittsburgh have anything left in the tank? The Steelers could be without their starting quarterback and top receiver when they go against the NFL's top defensive club.... 

The road team won all four games in the playoffs for the first time on Wild Card weekend in NFL history.Now, those four road teams are going to be back at it against clubs which had the whole week off to prepare for their foes in the divisional round of the playoffs.... 

Washington is perhaps the most shocking playoff team, not given much of a chance after winning the worst division in football.But the Skins finished on a tear with four consecutive wins and don’t have to face the Seahawks, who they lost to in each of their last three playoff games....

Sometimes the postseason brings out the best in individuals fighting to keep their teams' seasons alive, while other times, it brings out the worst. The Vikings ended Green Bay's run of NFC North titles at four with a victory over the Packers on Sunday. By winning the division, Minnesota locked up a first-round home game, but was a date with the Seahawks really worth the trouble? Seattle already ripped the Vikings in Minnesota 38-7 earlier this season and went 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in its last five road games.... 

Riding a 10-game winning streak into the postseason, the Chiefs look to put an end to their 22-year playoff drought. Kansas City has lost eight straight playoff games since knocking off the Houston Oilers in 1993.The Texans have never lost a Wild Card game, winning both their chances at home.... 

There's good news, and there's bad news for the Minnesota Vikings. The good news? They won the NFC North in improbable fashion by going on the road and upsetting Green Bay in Week 17.The bad news? Their reward is a home game against the one team in the league that no one wanted to see at this juncture, the Seattle Seahawks.... 

You like that? The Washington Redskins are the most improbable of all of the playoffs teams in the 2016 field, but the emergence of Kirk Cousins has put them into a position where they're basically a coin flip to beat the Green Bay Packers, who were once assumed to be the cream of the crop in the NFC.... 

This is what the top two teams in each conference play for, the right to host a divisional round game while the others battle in the wild card round. The Denver Broncos and New England Patriots will host the AFC games while the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers will entertain their NFC opponents.... 

There isn't a team which made the playoffs in the AFC that was happy when the Jets lost on Sunday.No one wanted the Pittsburgh Steelers in the playoffs, not the least of which are the Cincinnati Bengals, who will have a tough road to sow if they're going to exorcize their postseason demons on Saturday.... 

Seven games into the 2015 season, the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans were both 2-5. In fact, the Chiefs were 1-5, and their only win to that point had come against these same Texans right here at NRG Stadium. Both teams went on improbable charges full of upsets at home and away against teams which were always perceived to be better, and now, the two will fight for a spot in the last eight standing to kick off the 2016 playoffs.... 

The 2016 postseason kicks off on Saturday, as eight teams look to take the first of four necessary steps to win the Super Bowl.It's tough for teams to come out of the opening round to ultimately win it all, but we've seen it happen before, and you never know who the next team will be to go on a magical run through the postseason.... 

The last game of the 2015 regular season is a beauty with the NFC North title at stake in a winner-take-all matchup in primetime. The Packers are the kings of the division and until another team knocks them from that perch, they will continue to rule. The Vikings have an opportunity, but winning in Lambeau is something they’ve had a hard time doing.... 

Seattle’s last trip to University of Phoenix Stadium didn’t turn out so well for them as their bid for back-to-back Super Bowl wins was foiled by New England.Their last two visits when playing the venue’s main tenant have been much sweeter with a pair of wins over the Cardinals by a combined score of 59-28....
