2022 League of Legends VCS Winter Season Betting

Every other League of Legends league in the world has stopped for the winter. The League of Legends World Championship was played last month, and the offseason has been a whirlwind. However, the VCS is going strong after their Summer Season was cancelled due to COVID, and no Vietnamese teams were allowed to participate at Worlds in Iceland. That has made their matches even more interesting than usual, especially to Western viewers.

2022 League of Legends VCS Winter Season Betting Odds

Team Secret -153

Team Flash +115

These are the worst two teams in the VCS through the first half of the Winter Season. Team Secret is 1-6 with its only win coming against Team Flash, while Team Flash is winless through seven matches.

Secret has not had the success in League of Legends that it has had in Dota 2. Eddie has played well in the bottom lane on Jinx though, and jungler DNK is dealing 21% of his team’s damage. DNK’s decision to play Zed in the jungle didn’t work out, but he has a 13.0 KDA on Graves.

Team Flash has a star player in Palette. The support is dealing over 11% of his team’s damage, and he is carrying a 2.8 KDA into this series. He is the only player of note for the team though, as no other player has a KDA at two or more.

Cerberus Esports -770

SBTC Esports +471

Cerberus is unbeaten through its first seven games of the VCS Winter Season. The bottom lane has been superb with Artemis and RonOP playing well as a tandem, and Artemis is dealing 31.8% of his team’s damage on a wide array of champions. Yado has been absurd on LeBlanc in the mid lane too, posting a 27.3 KDA on the champion.

The issue for Cerberus has been in the top lane. Pun only has a 3 KDA, so Poss replaced him in the team’s last series. Poss didn’t fare better, and he now has a 1.9 KDA after falling flat on Renekton. SBTC does have a top laner that could potentially take advantage of that in NPer.

NPer only has a 2.3 KDA, but he leads the team by dealing 25.7% of its damage. He has played well on Jayce and Kennen, and those are two champions that can make a huge difference in a game. Celebrity has had his moments in the bottom lane too, especially on Jhin. The former Lowkey Esports bottom laner holds the record for most Pentakills in VCS history.

GAM Esports -590

Burst The Sky Esports +365

It was disappointing for GAM Esports to miss out on the Mid-Season Invitational. They had flashes of brilliance when they broke out on the international stage at the 2019 League of Legends World Championships, exciting crowds with their extremely up-tempo play. Most of that team has moved on, but jungler Levi is back.

Levi has a 4.8 KDA, and he has been superb on both Jarvan and Viego. He is the shotcaller of the team, and he has a lot of experience with Kiaya. That has helped GAM play through multiple lanes, and they are still the team to beat in the VCS despite their 5-2 record.

Burst the Sky has a solid mid laner in Gloryy. He is carrying a 4.2 KDA into this match, and he is dealing 26.2% of his team’s damage. His Sylas play has been very good, but it’s going to be tough to beat GAM.
