2022 League of Legends LEC Summer Split Week 7 Betting

Only one team has been eliminated from playoff contention in the LEC with two weeks left in the season. Team BDS have lost nine games in a row and are sitting at the bottom of the standings with a 1-12 record, so they know their year is over next weekend. Every other team in Europe still has hopes of playoffs and dreams of Worlds though. MAD Lions are looking very formidable at 10-3 with six straight wins, and they are the only team that can feel confident about its spot in the playoffs.

2022 League of Legends LEC Summer Split Week 7 Betting Odds

Astralis +122

Misfits Gaming -156

This could end up being the most important game of the weekend. Misfits Gaming are currently in line to pick up the last spot in the playoffs at 7-6, while Astralis are one game outside of the playoffs. Vetheo has found a way to have an impact in the mid lane although his Sylas hasn’t been great, but Astralis has a more well-rounded team. Astralis knocked off Misfits earlier this year, and Dajor should be able to neutralize Vetheo on a control mage like Orianna.

Team BDS +426

Team Vitality -669

Since they have nothing to play for at this point, it will be interesting to see what happens with Team BDS. They could mix up their lineup, or they could play some unique picks in order to befuddle their opponents. However, it’s clear that they just don’t have a lot of talent. The bottom lane has been awful, and Team Vitality should be able to smash them in the laning phase. Perkz and Alphari haven’t been great for Team Vitality, but this squad has not dropped games to bad opponents.

Fnatic -194

SK Gaming +150

A loss here would be devastating for Fnatic. They have not been at their best in the Summer Split, and they would miss the playoffs if the season were to end today. Their remaining schedule does work in their favor as they have already played MAD Lions and Rogue twice, yet they cannot afford another slip up.

SK Gaming are in second-to-last place and are two games out of playoff contention. A loss for SK would all but eliminate them from the postseason picture, and they do have a player known for turning it on at this point in jungler Gilius. It’s almost unfathomable to imagine Fnatic dropping this match though, and Fnatic won their first game against SK Gaming this season.

Excel Esports +122

G2 Esports -156

If the season ended today, both Excel Esports and G2 Esports would be in the playoffs. However, they both have just a one-game lead on the competition, so each team is looking to better entrench itself. G2 knocked off Excel in the previous matchup, and they are the deserved favorites here. Excel will find it difficult to deal with G2 in the rematch, as BrokenBlade should be able to get the better of Finn in the top lane.

MAD Lions -133

Rogue +104

There is a lot of hype surrounding this matchup as MAD Lions and Rogue have challenged G2 Esports and Fnatic as the best organizations in the LEC. MAD Lions have a two-game lead on the competition for the No. 1 seed entering the postseason, as the addition of Nisqy has helped this team thrive. The veteran mid laner does not require the resources and attention other mid laners need, allowing other players to take over. Rogue have had their number though, and they have a solid chance to stop their winning streak.
