2022 League of Legends LEC Spring Split Week 8 Betting

Will we see any craziness during the last week of the LEC Spring Split? The super week has been known to give us plenty of twists and turns, but there might not be much drama on Sunday. Team BDS and Astralis have both been eliminated from playoff contention, and MAD Lions and SK Gaming both need to win their final three games and have either Excel Esports or Team Vitality lose their final three games to make playoffs. That means all six playoff spots could be locked up on Friday, leaving only positioning to play for over the weekend.

SK Gaming +217

Misfits Gaming -303

It’s been impressive to watch Misfits Gaming this season. Vetheo is nearly a lock to be named Spring Split MVP for his performance in the mid lane, as he has led this team to a 10-5 record. The rest of the team isn’t that good, but they have rallied around their star well and haven’t lost a game to a team with a losing record.

SK Gaming have been disappointing this season. No one has played particularly well, and their only win against a team with a winning record came against G2 Esports. That makes it unlikely that the upset is achieved if Misfits Gaming has anything on the line.

Team Vitality -400

Astralis +270

New superteam Team Vitality has had a rough split. Vitality looked like they might miss the playoffs before last week, but wins over SK Gaming and Misfits Gaming essentially ensured that they will make the playoffs. There is a lot of talent, yet the low kill percentages per Games of Legends show that this team is not on the same page often.

Astralis look like they will finally be the worst team in the LEC. They lost their first nine games, but they have won a game in each of the last three weeks with wins over Rogue and Fnatic. That could make Astralis a sneaky play, especially if there is nothing for Team Vitality to play for in this game.

Team BDS +138

MAD Lions -185

The MAD Lions have won the last two LEC titles, but they probably won’t even make the postseason after an absolute freefall. MAD Lions started the season 5-4, and they have since lost six straight games. They have a very manageable schedule the last week of the Spring Split, so they have the potential to finish strong if they stay focused, but Armut and Reeker have been disappointing.

Team BDS will make some changes this offseason after their first split. Top laner Adam and bottom laner Xmatty have been two of the worst players in the LEC, and this organization needs to make a change.

Fnatic -222

Excel Esports +173

At this point, not even signing former jungler Caedrel as a content creator can derail Excel Esports’ first trip to the playoffs…or can it? Excel have been unfortunate to miss the postseason for each of their first three seasons in the LEC, but they currently are just one win away from making the playoffs. The addition of Mikyx has really helped give this team a natural shotcaller, but Fnatic are probably too much to handle if their opponents have the No. 1 seed in their sights.

Rogue -222

G2 Esports +161

Rogue avoided its typical late season collapse despite a stunning loss to Astralis at the start of the second round robin. Larssen, Comp, and Odoamne have been stars this year, and Trymbi is one of the best playmaking supports in the league. G2 Esports have a strong, young bottom lane, but veterans Caps and Jankos have been liabilities too many times.
