2022 League of Legends LEC Spring Split Week 7 Betting

Time flies in the LEC Spring Split, and we are entering the penultimate week of the regular season. Rogue are comfortably in first place with an 11-2 record, and they have locked in a playoff berth. Fnatic and G2 Esports should make the playoffs too, but there’s a very good chance that either Team Vitality or MAD Lions miss the postseason entirely. That would be a massive disappointment for either team, and they are facing must-win games on Saturday.

2022 League of Legends LEC Spring Split Week 7 Betting Odds

Team BDS -152

Astralis +113

These are the two worst teams in Europe, and the loser of this match will be essentially eliminated from postseason contention. Astralis is in last place, but this is the team to bet based on their recent play. In the last two weeks, we have seen Astralis upset the best two teams in the region in Rogue and Fnatic, while Team BDS has lost six straight matches.

MAD Lions -115

Excel Esports -115

This might be the most interesting match of the final two weeks for playoff purposes. Excel Esports have famously never made the postseason, yet they are in good shape at 7-6. They can move very close to a playoff spot with a win over the 5-8 MAD Lions.

The last two weeks have been terrible for the MAD Lions. They have lost four straight matches, and they might not be able to defend their title as they currently sit in eighth place. That would likely lead to some major changes for the best team in Europe in 2021.

Team Vitality -370

SK Gaming +250

Oddsmakers are giving Team Vitality too much credit. Team Vitality are just 6-7, and they have not been able to come together over the course of the Spring Split. Perkz has just a 2.3 KDA and a 51.8% kill percentage per Games of Legends, and Alphari has had a rough time in the top lane. Carzzy and Selfmade are playing somewhat well, yet this team leaves a lot to be desired.

SK Gaming don’t have near the same talent. They have won three straight matches though and knocked off G2 Esports and MAD Lions in that stretch. Gilius is famous for coming alive in the middle of the season, so this is a great chance to back the underdog at an inflated price.

Misfits Gaming -120

G2 Esports -109

It was a terrible week for G2 Esports. They lost to SK Gaming on Friday and were flattened by Fnatic on Saturday. They are still 8-4 and shouldn’t have to worry about making the playoffs, but they want one of the top four seeds in order to enter the double elimination part of the bracket.

Misfits Gaming have shown their strong start was not a fluke though. Vetheo has been arguably the top player in the LEC, and Hirit is playing a solid weak side top lane despite middling stats. However, there are concerns about the champion pools of Shlatan and Neon, as the jungler has played just four champions and the ADC has only played three champions.

Rogue -167

Fnatic +126

We saw Rogue pummel Fnatic in their first meeting, but Fnatic has value at this price. Fnatic have the most talent of any team in the region, and this bottom lane is strong. Upset and Hylissang have the potential to hard carry their team in this game, while Comp has made some errors in the bottom lane despite a great KDA.
