2022 League of Legends LEC Spring Split Week 6 Betting

Blink and you’ll miss it because we are over halfway through the LEC Spring Split now. The regular season only lasts eight weeks, and teams have just three weeks left to try and make the playoffs now. Rogue no longer looks like a juggernaut after dropping both its matches last week, while old guard teams Fnatic and G2 Esports are now just a game out of first place. The only team that has likely given up on the playoffs is Astralis, but they pulled off the biggest upset of the season last week when they knocked off Rogue.

2022 League of Legends LEC Spring Split Week 6 Betting Odds

Fnatic -508

Astralis +372

The favorites to win the LEC Spring Split are Fnatic. This is the most talented team in the region, but they have to prove they can beat G2 Esports and Rogue when it matters. Upset leads the LEC with a 19.8 KDA, as he and Hylissang work extremely well together. They are one of the most innovative teams with YamatoCannon, and they did not take advantage of the support top lane meta that has now been nerfed by Riot.

They weren’t particularly impressive the last time they faced Astralis though. Upset was great, and Hylissang made his Zilean support work, but they needed over 40 minutes to close out the last-place team in the LEC.

Misfits Gaming -159

Excel Esports +120

It’s been impressive to watch Misfits Gaming turn it on over the last couple weeks. Their only losses have been to the most talented teams in the region, and they knocked off Rogue last Saturday. Vetheo has been extremely good in the mid lane for this team, and that has this organization dreaming of its first international competition since 2017.

Meanwhile, Excel Esports are simply looking to make the playoffs for the first time in their history. Excel have come tantalizingly close in recent splits, and they have a one-game lead on both MAD Lions and Team Vitality for the No. 5 seed with three weeks to play. Excel already have the tiebreaker with Vitality after beating them twice, and they have knocked off Fnatic too.

Team Vitality -286

Team BDS +212

The newest LEC superteam might not even make the playoffs. Team Vitality have been very disappointing with a 5-6 record at this point. Vitality were pummeled by Fnatic in the Match of the Week last Saturday, as Perkz and Alphari continue to struggle in their lanes.

That gives Team BDS some hope that they can pull off the upset. Team BDS lost to Vitality earlier this year, and they have lost four straight games. Cinkrof has been superb in the jungle, but former Fnatic players Adam and Xmatty have not played well.

SK Gaming +212

G2 Esports -303

It looks like G2 made some changes at the right time. The top team in the LEC for most of the last few years parted ways with Wunder and the bottom lane this offseason, and the new bottom lane has been great. Flakked and Targamas have been a very good combination, giving G2 a bottom lane that can hard win its lane. Brokenblade has been solid in the top lane too on assassin champions.

SK Gaming is 2-0 against MAD Lions and 1-8 against the rest of the LEC. Their only other win has come against Astralis, as its clear that Gilius is not as effective as he was during his time with Schalke. It’s hard to have much faith in this team to pull off the upset here as there is no real edge they have over G2.

Rogue -222

MAD Lions +157

This is a great chance to bet on a MAD Lions team that people are down on after a poor week. They are now 5-6, but they haven’t played poorly outside of Reeker struggling with his out of meta picks in the mid lane.

Rogue trounced MAD Lions a few weeks ago, but this Rogue team has been figured out. Malrang isn’t as great in the jungle as he was hyped to be after spending time with DWG KIA, and Comp’s champion pool might be pretty limited. He has only played four champions in the bottom lane this year.
